i baked. thought you might like a bite of it

baking is such a good stress relief! especially bread. i’ve been baking bread for a few years now, and it’s always something i do when really stressed. kneading (if you knead by hand) can be super relaxing, the bread making process takes several hours but has built in breaks for rise time so you’re occupied but not constantly working, it makes your house smell nice, and at the end of it you get some delicious homemade bread!!!

baking bread for the first few times can be scary, especially cause there’s lots of jokes and memes online about how everything has to be Just Right for it, but it’s one of my favorite things and it’s really exciting to see more people getting into it!! it takes time to make bread and now that a lot of people have an abundance of it, i think its really cool that people might be trying something that they’ve wanted to do for a long time
