Colorado bighorn sheep are amazing! We love exploring the wilderness and encountering nature, but sometimes those encounters can raise your heart rate a little. A few months ago I was riding my mountain bike through the thick forests of Wyoming when I saw a black mass in front of me. My first thought was a small black bear. The animal turned around to square up on me and it was a 125lb black wolf with a beautiful coat and creepy eyes. I stood tall to display dominance as I reached for my bear spray. A second 150lb grey wolf joined in the stare down, then both disappeared into the woods.
