Here is a great deal greasy monkeys!
If you are looking for a budget-friendly diner with appetizing and flavorsome dishes, you should not miss this one. This diner could be the perfect place for you!
T-cup Zone is a Taiwanese Casual Dining located at Sampaguita St. Marulas, Valenzuela City. It opens daily, from 10 o’clock A.M. until 9 o’clock P.M. T-cup Zone have branches on Fairview, Baliuag, and Banawe. I am not sure if the other branches offer the same menu though.
In Marulas branch, they offer black teas and green teas, but they are quite famous for their freshly brewed milk teas. I personally prefer their Taro Milk Tea and Choco Cereal Milk Tea. They also offer hot and cold caffe, fresh pop tea, fruit ice shake, yogurt drinks, diamond jelly shakes, noodles, rice toppings, spaghetti bread, seaweed rice rolls, pita rolls, soups, and other snacks.
The environment inside T-cup Zone is quite comfortable and cozy. The whole place is air-conditioned so you do not have to worry about the room temperature. In the picture, you will notice that the tables and chairs are not exactly new but still, the ambiance of the place gives you a feeling that you can stay there for as long as you want and enjoy your meal by yourself or with your friends without other’s minding your business. The staffs are also approachable and they have very fast response with inquiries and other requests. The service is good and it only takes at least 5-10 minutes before your orders were served.
Now let’s dig into their specialties!
I have tried their milk teas and it was awesome! It was different from other milk teas probably because we are all familiar with Korean bubble teas, but Taiwanese variants also taste good. This time, I tried their strawberry ice shake. The flavor is bursting into my mouth and it actually taste like fresh strawberries. It is a mixture of fruit sour punch and sweetness in one small cup.
You can guess the price for now and I will reveal it later.
Let me say this: sweet potato fries snack is my favorite! I do not really understand why I like it so much despite the fact that this is actually a food for the oldies. I am not shading anyone here, but I have observed that people within my age group are not fond of sweet potatoes. It is delicious! Well, at least for me. It is covered with something sour, salty, and spicy that complements the sweetness of the sweet potatoes. You can enjoy this snack with or without its mayo-ketchup dip.
Spicy crispy chicken is what I will surely crave for everyday. I AM A CHICKEN-LOVER. Chicken is life. Chicken is my style. And I don’t doubt the appeal of this snack to the customers because this is not behind anyone’s preference. THIS IS EVERYONE’S PREFERENCE, said the chicken-lover. But on the serious note, spice and fried chicken is the most iconic pair for me, I love how this burns your mouth, in a good way though. If you’ll say this is just satisfactory, come to me and fight me. Kidding!
Grilled chicken seaweed rice rolls. I know, I know. Chicken again. I just love it. But honestly, any meat is perfect for rice rolls. The seaweed gives you a sense of Japanese feels, though this food is certainly a Taiwanese variant. This rice roll is very delectable, but the thing is, it can make you full easily. Still, an advantage for those who are saving but always hungry.
Grilled beef spaghetti bread. I’ll be more specific with this one. The grilled beef actually taste like Korean hanwoo (I’ve tried from a Korean restaurant) and that is the “all-time favorite” of all Koreans (and non-Koreans who wants to be Koreans), but we’re talking about Taiwanese dish here. The spaghetti is more of a Filipino-style, sweet and salty. The spaghetti sauce can be white sauce or tomato sauce depending on your choice. The bread, okay, just a typical hotdog bread. So this meal is actually a Korean-Filipino taste in a Taiwanese style, undeniably praise-worthy.
In conclusion to this, I will definitely recommend this to everyone because of the unique taste of every dish they offer. Also, the price is very affordable and the place is commendable enough. Can you guess the total price of my orders? It’s just 300 pesos! And it is good for two or more people, unless you’re like me who can finish this in one seating.
I believe students will enjoy this the most, especially those who are saving money but always hungry. You can get a very good taste of foods in great quantities without spending so much and without sacrificing your health. If you are one of them, T-cup zone is for you guys!
