As a “trial run” we took our camper on vacation with us to Colorado. Our lease for our house in Tulsa is up May 1st so we still had an out if we decided the trailer life wasn't for us! Haha Fortunately it was a success! 

Codys brother, Casey was getting married in the thriving town of Monte Vista Colorado so we made the wedding trip into a week long vacay. Why not, right?! Codys mom, Francine and niece Riley jumped in with us and braved the 14 hour truck ride. Fortunately Cody and I took turns driving which made it not too bad of a drive. 

It was my turn to drive and we were trucking through the hills of southern Colorado when all of a sudden a rather large, plump black bear came loping into view about 1,000 feet ahead. Needless to say I woke everyone up by yelling “Bear!” How could you blame me though, it was the first one I've seen in person outside of a zoo! He continued loping across the highway and disappeared into the trees in a matter of seconds. 

Once we got there the week flew by pretty fast between last minute wedding planning, shopping, exploring the ranch and of course having a few beers at night :)  The wedding was absolutely gorgeous and sooo much fun. We broke out our best moves and danced the night away! Surprisingly we weren't very hungover on the drive back so it wasn't too painful. ;)
