It never ceases to amaze me that so many bourbon lovers haven't tried EH Taylor. It's relatively easy to get in Kentucky but harder other places. It's truly a great brand in every form. 

The single barrel is a rich, rich treat. It sticks to the side of the glass almost like a thick molasses. It's a very deep amber with a hint of redness. At first taste to last taste it's so rich but without any spice or burn. It seems like it is heavy on the wheat with a bitterness toward the front of your tongue, but it's so subtle you really have to look for it. 

This is a sweet bourbon with a caramel with some honey taste. 

One notable thing is that when you add just a few drops of water this bourbon reacts. It's thickness cuts by leaps and bounds. It tastes the same but lighter.

The nose is easy and rich without any burn, just like the taste. The after taste is heavy and rich too.

Truly one of the best bourbons on the market!
