Master, master! You're finally here!
We soothin' this House, with our scent, per usual!
Praise us, Master, Hehee~
Some familiar voices could be heard nearby him, as he, the Magister, with long wavy, silver hair, wearing a white aristocratic clothes... stirred awake from his slumber when hearing it. He slowly opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling for awhile... of the usual, Mystical House, as he was currently, lying on the couch.
He slowly changed his position from lying to sit on the couch, letting out a groan, as he, now, felt ever so lightheaded from the shift of his position. He blinked a few times to clear his blurry vision and saw... some lavender flowers of his in a vase, on a table, infront of him.
He caressed the petal of the lavender ever so gently and sighed, when he heard some giggling from them.
'When did I... arrange this lavender flowers of mine... in a vase..?' he thought and titled his head.
He searched through his hazy mind of when he did it... nonetheless... he failed. He sighed yet again and ruffled his hair. ... as expected from his broken mind.
He glanced at the Noble Tavern and spotted Dolly, which was wiping the countertop while humming a soothing tune. He flustered, immediately lowered his gaze, due to such... ethereal she looks in his eyes. With his fingers, he combed his hair a bit and slowly rising up from the couch, striding towards her. His heart rate picked up its pace the more he gets closer to the Tavern.
"Pardon of the intrusion... Miss Dolly..." He said, in shaky tone, as he sat on a stool, slowly.
"May I ask... have you seen... Miss Eva..? Urm... She's quite late... promising me some Enchanted Roast Skewers... from Holt Street..." He stared at the spotless, countertop now, quite embarrassed to look at her in the eyes.
"That... Lavender flowers in the vase... over there... Did I... arrange it..? I... truly forgot... yet again... ... I... don't think I... could arrange that well... ... It's lovely..." He looked at the lavender vase near the couch where he previously took a nap, as he smiled sheepishly at such, embarrassing remarks that he just utter.
... Oh, Kafka... He truly didn't know whose Mystical House he was in... As his mind slightly foggy at the moment...
。𖦹°‧— (It takes a moment for Dolly to process the man's words. He carried himself like an elegant mage but, when did he enter the tavern? Had she missed his entrance? Perhaps, with how busy the front counter can get at times. Though right now the last of visitors had left, leaving only the stranger and her.
Regardless, she put on her best smile.) ⋆˚꩜。
。𖦹°‧— "Oh, hello! I- don't recall seeing you earlier but, welcome to the Noble Tavern! May I offer a cup of water? You look like you just woke up from a deep dream..."
。𖦹°‧— "Miss Eva...? I don't remember anyone with that name either..."
。𖦹°‧— (For a moment, Dolly wondered if she had missed many more visitors, had she been careless?
But the mage seemed too entranced by the Lavender flowers. They were beautiful and filled the space with a relaxing scent.
。𖦹°‧— "These flowers? I got them from a mysterious sender, I have been waiting for his visit."
。𖦹°‧— "I arranged them in a vase myself because I didn't want such a gift to wither, in case the sender came visiting sometime... I'm glad you think its lovely but, why would you think you arranged them?"
。𖦹°‧— "Ah, that's an odd question, isn't it?"
。𖦹°‧—(One cannot tell which of the two is more confused, the Mage, or the Bartender.)⋆˚꩜。
