7) 12) 13) from the D&D questions list for Keiji
Thank you! Letās talk about this asshole
7) If they didnāt have to adventure, would they stop?Ā At the moment, no. While he hasnāt been like an official adventurer for very long, heās been wandering for longer. Heās looking for purpose, and as long as adventuring gives him that, might as well. Because he doesnāt fight for any grand moral reason, I could see him settling down if he finds either a place to settle or a person to stay with, who knows. But yea for now heās pretty okay with the whole adventuring deal. He likes the adrenaline of a good fight, and while the mortal danger is a bit of a downside, itās doable.
12) They get arrested, and thrown in jail, how do they escape?Ā This boy has had some experience sneaking around and getting in trouble when he was younger, so I imagine heād know how to pick basic locks. Technically he canāt, since he doesnāt have thieves tools proficiency, but iām gonna multiclass rogue at some point anyway so heāll get it
Anyway. Heād wait it out until nightfall, take the time to study the guards and either carve or draw Pelorās symbol in his cell, then pick the lock and try to stealth out of there. If he got caught near the exit, heād probably just leg it. he fast. If his escape attempt were going particularly well, he might take the time to pull some mischief on his way out.Ā
13) Would they leave their party for any reason?Ā ā¦is this even a question
Right now? Yes. Heās relying on numbers for survival while theyāre making their way to Licium, so he wouldnāt abandon them now. Once theyāre in the city though, who knows. Unless thereās a clear advantage to staying with them, heāll probably go do his own thing.
Once heās been with them longer and heās gotten a bit more attached though, he wouldnāt leave on a whim. At that point heād only leave over a large moral disagreement (eg the party having to do something clearly evil, or having to involve themselves in slavery) or the like, though knowing the party i canāt really see that happening.Ā
I could see him splitting off for a little while if he caught wind of members of his former order being in the area. This wouldnāt be for longer than a night or a few days, but he wouldnāt want them around for whateverās gonna happen.Ā
