Jungkook Daily on Twitter found a lot of different meanings for Jungkook’s snake tattoo. And I really wanted to tell them to you!

First, the meaning of the snake itself. Turns out the year BTS debuted, 2013, is actually the year of the snake!! - Wooow!! (He also has the date on his hand). 

The snake itself also has different meanings. I tried to look it up, since the meaning is very different in Asia compared to Western cultures. In Korea the snake is seen as a protector of the home. The snake is seen as good, and symbolizes patience in achieving one’s dreams (that makes a LOT of sense if you know Jungkook, right?) I can’t help but think of it as a small protector in his arm, giving him strength to work for his dreams. 

If you look up the common meaning behind a snake tattoo it symbolizes  transformation, rebirth, healing and immortality. That’s interesting too, I think. 

It is a snake, yes. But could it look like something else?

If you turn i around it does look like “ME”? Can you see it? “Lets focus on me now”. The me could mean a lot of things! Both Hobi and Namjoon has been using the word in some of their Instagram stories. And people talk about if chapter 1 was “we”, chapter 2 will be “me”? I’m not sure.. the “me” isn’t THAT clear to me. 

However that’s not all. It also looks like the virgo sign, which is Jungkook’s zodiac. I have never heard him talk about astrology zodiac signs, so I’m not sure it’s something he believes in. But it’s still interesting how it could look like it. Knowing Jungkook however, he really do believe in stuff like that. I’m just not sure if astrology is a big enough “thing” in Korea.
