Beard might work when he’s hiding from the templars post-DA2 and tries to change his appearance lmao. And I know some headcanon him having some tattoos.
Yeah I headcanon him cutting his hair and not shaving for awhile post-DA2 as well, also maybe darkening his hair? I don’t know how important it’d be in a society without photography but I like the idea of he and Hawke trying to disguise their appearances anyway. As for tattoos, I can totally see him getting at least one during his youthful jailbreaks.
But a modern-day Anders with long hair/a bun and a beard and at least one full sleeve? My shitty hipster heart bleeds for that, haha. I imagine he’d get a scene with a tiger down one arm or on his back, to symbolize the one he faced in his Harrowing. And because when he started getting tattoos he felt like he needed to look “cool” and not just get inked up with regular cats; pretty quickly he gives up on that idea and has memorial Mr. Wiggums and Ser Pounce-a-lot tattoos added in (one on the back of each calf, maybe).
