I wanted to go for like. A parrot lol

In addition to painting the spackled wall corner, we also finally got a mirror for our hallway which we then had a devil of a time hanging levelly. But now that we HAVE look how lovely it is!

Lol for reasons unclear to me we’re supposed to wear all-black to our department MD’s retirement party (is it a funeral? Does the county kill MDs when they cease being useful?) and I was SO proud of myself for getting up and scraping together this cool goth look and then I was halfway down the freeway when I realized I’d forgotten the whipped cream I signed up to provide for the ice cream social at home and had to circle back.

As always I don’t know how to photograph eyeshadow with hooded eyes but yayyyy my hair is pink again at the tips and my makeup matches and I feel good about it all

On a call where I thankfully don’t have to talk and jet lag just hit full force. I gotta try to eat some lunch at least before I nap

I don’t post many selfies on tumblr anymore but I am now like 8 weeks post mammoplasty and LOOK how my fucking button downs fit me!!!!

Putting everything else aside this is still THE most indulgent thing I did for the wedding its the ONE thing I dreamed of as a kid. It took 5 hours to get all of this on me and another 8 to process and it looks exactly as cool as I’d dreamed it would. Cooler, even, since people commented on how the henna on my left arm flowed into my Ganesha tattoo to look like a full sleeve!

Got newwwww glasses that are transition lenses and I was really feelin this look so it’s my new icon now
