Even though this isn’t in a library, it is in a bookstore at the University of Alaska.  I found this post interesting because for one, I’ve never heard about the espresso book machine before and found it to be an exciting new technology.  This post is nice because it quickly explains what this new resource is and how it can be used. This would be a wonderful tool to have here at my branch!

Pros: -Constantly stay up to date with the latest trends that are happening -It’s a very popular social media platform with almost everyone, celebrity or not, constantly tweeting or messaging with the followers Cons: -Because it’s so popular it can be a little daunting for someone new on this social media platform -The 140 character limit could be a challenge for someone trying to express themselves

Usefulness to the Library: -It’s a great way for connecting with a younger audience. Not only will you reach out a big percentage of Twitter users, you can also reach out to the next generation of library patrons -Twitter is a great place to network with not only your patrons, but also other libraries and businesses, and also a place to meet potential partners. -It is accessible anywhere from mobile devices, tablets, and other platforms. You can be sure that your tweets always reach your patrons.
