Sorry for the wait on this orz

Look out guys! I'm one od the founding members of the upcoming @clansofthemire, a wcrp server set in the swamps of the southeastern USA!

Skipperstone- With Seastar assuming leadership in TideClan recently I could see this either uniting the clan or splitting them even further- if where was a schism happening I would be VERY interested to see where Skipperstone fell in it, especially when compared to Sunstorm. Would they be on the same side? Would their mutual complaint party come to an end as they sided differently?

Tarponshine- For friendships I want to see what happens now that they're returning to normal warrior duties! They're in the same age range as Sharkbite, Gossamerdawn and Drizzlepurr and I know they are decently close with all three of them, but I can't imagine things feel the same now after Tarponshine was acting as their leader. I think they're afraid they've ruined their chances with their TideClan friends...but would anyone outside TideClan even want to talk to them? I'd personally be VERY interested in seeing them befriend someone from FOTB like Father Glaze or maybe even Connie...I think given their lost emotional state that could have a LOT of potential.

As for if they were granted lives, since COTM doesn't have those...I think a lot of the cats who give them lives pity their situation. Some cats I can imagine being around are:

Queenie (Jollytempest's mother)- compassion for those in need. The same compassion that inspired Shellstar to welcome her, and Oysterstar to rescue Seaflower.

Gustpaw (Sharkbite's brother)- the wisdom to set boundaries. Gustpaw never knew when to stop, and his overexertion ended up being his doom.

Poppyfern (Rowanstripe's mate, Bearkit & Finkit's mother)- the initiative to take decisive actions. Implied in it is the desire to do what you can while you still have the chance.

Makosplash- Beach day beach day!!!!!!! I loved Makosplash getting to hang out with his cousin on the beach after everything that's happened recently. It was a really sweet little moment and I hope TideClan gets more of those soon ;;

Railspur- I think his and Sedge's particular brand of lovers to cringe to friends is REALLY funny, and him inadvertently radicalizing Pigeon is such a formative moment for her character that I can't NOT mention it, but I'm going to have to go with Tawnyoak and Leopardpelt.

Leopardpelt first because I'm a sucker for characters who find love YEARS into a friendship- and these two weren't even especially close in their younger days. Leopard had his wifey Caveshade and Railspur...well, *wanted* to have Condorstrike but you know how wars go. I genuinely don't think they would have ever considered each other potential romantic partners. But sometimes your best friend Dies In The War before you can confess and sometimes you go through an epic divorce and she gets 2/3 of the kids in the custody battle. I think both of them are really emotionally closed off from others because of that, but they find a weird kinship in feeling like they're kind of the last people to feel so inescapably stuck in the past. Railspur's basically resigned to it, his lesson he imparts to the kiddos is "don't become like me" instead of making any attempts to change. Sometimes I think they feel like they need someone to give them permission to be happy. If it really can't be themselves, I hope they can at least be that for each other.

Tawnyoak...bingus from my roleplays...I love Tawnyoak so much I cannot describe it. This family has lost so goddamn much but they're still trucking together. Tawny is ultimately THE most important person in Railspur's life. His bond with his nephew is ironclad, nothing Tawnyoak could do would ever change that like I think Railspur would help him hide a body and teach him how to lie to the cops fjkdfghsdhgkdj. If the Russetlings are the future of BriarClan, Railspur thinks Tawnyoak specifically is the future of CanyonClan. He wouldn't try to Nepotism his way into making a council seat (or god forbid Tawnywatcher) happen, but lord does he WANT it to happen. In his mind Tawnyoak is a strong, clear-headed cat with healthy ambition and an understanding that the clan is what matters most.

Velvetfang- See I would say Batshadow but I am pretty sure that the CanyonClan Gossip Girls would sooner shove her into a locker for being an insufferable know-it-all. I am REALLY enjoying her banter with Scarlet and I hope it develops into something funny. I want Velvet to befriend someone way more down-to-earth and maybe come out the other side less pretentious and a bit nicer.

Tarponshine- "TideClan has always been at the mercy of the whims of the sea while you have more dry land than you know what to do with! Tell me, Rushstar, if the storm is as bad as you say- what will TideClan do when the storm hits us? When the trees are ripped up and thrown far out to sea, what good will our mangroves do then? When TideClan is hit first- and mark my words, we will be hit first- will StormClan watch us die from the safety of their kittypet dens?" Tarpon going off at Rushstar was one of the few moments of genuine fury during their pathetic little leadership and I think they should do it again!

Sorrel Jig- I want to see Timber!Sorrel. Sorrel is such a lazy little sack of bones that they could ONLY have become the cat they are in HoneyClan. I wonder what she would have been like if the TimberClan School of Tough Learnin' had whipped her into shape.
