digital altar ideas !!!
i ADORE digital altars but i always see the same few recs so heres my personal little list!! ill add on as i think of new stuff (includes offerings in the digital realms!!)

lets start off with some common ones !!
♡ minecraft !
- minecraft is one of the most recommended applications i see for digital altars, and for good reason! you can shape and mold the world to fit your altar in any ways, whether its just a small one in your minecraft house, its own dedicated house, or the whole world! either way, minecraft is really awesome for things like this!!
♡ roblox !
- i also saw this sososo often! whether its making your own game, or joining a premade game, you can do so much!! some ideas that come to mind are those build your base games, where you can make one in honor of whoever you worship! i saw another tumblr user mention dti and tycoons, which also is so smart for this!! another is making your actual avatar in honor of your deity, or just use the catalog avatar creator if you dont have robux! either way, endless possibilities here, too
♡ the sims !
- i saw this a lot too, but building a house in honor of your worship or an altar IN the sims house is a good idea, and im sures theres even ways to mess around with the sims themselves to make them in honor of your worship! keeps kinda the same base as the last two
♡ picrew !
- its getting repetitive but i also saw this! making how your deity appears to you in picrew perhaps? but also theres those build a room/altar picrews!! so!! easy!!
♡ pinterest !
- VERY POPULAR!! creating a dedicated space on a Pinterest board for your deity as a digital altar!!! i think you can also save pins as digital offerings but dooont quote me! either way its your craft so!!
♡ ponytown !
- I HAVENT REALLY SEEN THIS BUT!!! PONYTOWN!! you can make your pony itself in honor but!! you can also make your altar your whole ponytown island/home!! theres multiple saves so you can keep your indoor/outdoor altar separate incase you either a) just wanna separate them! or b) want it to be private/unseen by the public!! either way!! ponytown!! (this is one of my favs)
♡ assorted plant/building games !
- this isnt specific but theres so many!! someone else on here mentioned those plant games which is so true!! maybe name a plant after each of your deities? theres also those animal island games which!! same premise!! just explore the app store and you'll find a plethora!! i may update and have some specific names for you in a bit (townscaper!!)
♡ almost any social media !
- im getting REALLY unspecific but stay with me now!! any social media that has a saving/collection feature can be used as a digital altar!! or even just a repost button!! make profiles dedicated to your worship!! make posts!! like posts!! even youtube/whatever you use for videos and or music!! you get the gist!! i saw someone mention even wattpad for story offerings but you can also do like? nonfiction? im sure you will figure it out!!
♡ writing apps !
- the notes app, notion, and fortelling can all be used to make digital collections for an altar!! some honorable mentions (which are fake social media apps) is twinote and photonote! (fake twitter and instagram, respectively) get creative!!!
♡ gacha !
- gachaverse, gacha life, gacha life 2, gacha studio, etc etc... make stories! remake how you see your deities! YAY!
♡ drawing apps !
- well duhh draw the altar and your deities but also!! PHOTO BASH YOUR DIGITAL ALTAR!! MAKE COLLAGES!! ALSO CANVA AND PICSART!!! BE CREATIVE !!!
♡ discord !
- this one is a bit iffy because i dont know how many of you use discord, and if theres an alternative let me know! but you can make custom discord servers for your altar! i feel like you have to be a bit creative with this one too but i know you can do it!!
♡ gogh !
- i think this is a study app but you can customize the study room so!! if theres a will theres a way baby make your avatar (which can be a dedication too..) and then make the avatars room an altar!!!
♡ toca world !
- you can make characters and a house in this too!! decorate your toca avatars house to be an altar!! or even different areas of the city for different deities!!!
♡ homebyme !
- this is a house building game!! not to get repetitive but if you can build and decorate, you can make an altar!!
♡ combyne !
- this is a socmed where you can make those like outfit combos from 2010s fanfics!! but theres also like accessories and decorations that can lead to a digital altar/offerings!
♡ home/lockscreen, etc !
- customize your home and lock screen!! also apps/widgets !! if you have an apple you can have multiple presets soo that helps !!
♡ animal crossing
- another one where you can customize your home/island!!
