Martin Milita - The 24th Infantry Division Association
The a Senior Director with Duane Morris Government Strategies, LLC. Martin Milita has provided guidance in government affairs and public policy to such corporate clients as GPU Nuclear, Xerox Corporation, and Accupac. In his private life, Martin Milita is a life member of the 24th Infantry Division Association. Honoring America's armed forces, the 24th Infantry Division Association acknowledges the contributions and sacrifices made by the 24th Infantry Division. Identified by the Taro Leaf shoulder patch, this unit has defended the country for nearly 70 years. The 2,100-member association, which is supported financially and emotionally by thousands of family, friends, and contributors, keeps alive the stories of the troops, sponsors reunions, and bring its history to future generations. Having fought in every conflict since World War II, the 24th Infantry Division was among the first units to participate in that war, being called into action on December 7, 1941, following the attack on Pearl Harbor. At the end of the war, it was stationed on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines and took part in World War II's last military campaign. After the cessation of hostilities, the division's commander, Major General Roscoe B. Woodruff, created the 24th Infantry Division Association as a way to keep the veterans in contact and to preserve the memory of their and future soldiers' achievements.
