Billy is wonderful. Also being an immortal wizard that only ocasionally interacts with people nicely explains all those how-to-adult gaps that he definitely has. Can he pay taxes? Does he know what to do if the power shorts out? Obviously not, why would immortal wizard man who doesn't live in a house or integrate in human society know that. They're lucky he can use computers, though the Wisdom probably helped there since who would have taught him? At least as a foster kid he can probs cook.

Your rendition of Billy has grabbed me by the throat and has no plans to let go. Look at baby earnestly trying to care for smaller baby! Also the mundane context just helps highlight how much of cryptid Cap is. It's one thing to see him shoot lightning surounded by fellow wizards, it's another to hear oh, sometimes I eat, you know, for fun (while he's dressed like Mister Rogers). Also nailing the 12yo dialogue that is coming out of his late 30s face.

Ah, but consider: Hidan and a baby. He's young so any spawn would be in that infant to toddler range - unless Jashinism mandates chastity for priests, meaning it would have to be 15 y o acolyte Hidan who got lucky forever ago, before getting sworn in as a priest, and the child is like 7 in Shipuden. And as someone who has spent a lot of time with a 3 y o recently, they're fucking clever and distinctly their own person. He's not leaving kiddo to be raised in an orphanage - which outside of Hidden Villages would likely be under the purview of various religious organisations, other Jashinist priests are obviously doing something wrong if they're not immortal by their God's grace, Kakuzu is old so he knows about raising kids, right? His obsessive, relentless enthusiasm and can do attitude make me think he'd at least try.
