I donāt usually get favoritism vibes on the amazing race, at least compared to Survivor or Big Brother, but the fact that Jet and Cord got their own theme music is very questionable
Season 16 was the first season i watched because I was a J*ff and Jordan fan
Much like the last two seasons, TAR16 was enjoyable, but middle of the road. Thereās more positives than negatives imo, but still it wasnāt as enjoyable as others. The Cowboys, Jet & Cord eat up most of the screen time and as someone who first watched them on TAR24 (my first time ever watching TAR) I was surprised with how okay they were. They didnāt annoy me or bother me until the final leg, but in no way was I rooting for them. Carol & Brandy stand out for mostly their poor attitude when completing tasks and their dumb feud with Caite. I wanted to root for them because they were a lesbian couple, and I tend to always root for the LGBT teams, but I canāt stand when teams complain about the tasks in such a negative way. Like, youāre competing for a million dollars what did you think you were gonna have to do? However I will say the edit they got overall was a bit dramatic, especially because they constantly played that small clip of Caite finding out about them asking where her tiara was, which wasnāt a big deal at all but they seemed to really milk it for drama. The stunt casting with Jeff & Jordan didnāt even gag me a single bit, cause I knew they werenāt winning. Their little speed bump in that boring ass military leg (I really canāt stand military legs or challenges) really seemed easy too, CBS probably wanted them to go far like Rob & Amber.Ā Louie & Michael surprised me with how far they got! I didnāt expect that from them at all and I kinda liked how they ran. Brent & Caite were another shock for me, and while I didnāt care too much for them I did take their side on their feud with Carol & Brandy. That fight at the finish line was a gag and Caite ate Brandy up. Now onto the winners, Dan & Jordan, who personally I really liked so I was so happy with their win. That whole thing at the final leg with themĀ ācutting in lineā wasnāt even that serious since they all got on the same plane, so for Jet & Cord, two GROWN ass men to be throwing a fit and threatening to kick their teeth was stupid and immature. Cord literally saw Jordan put his bag in front of him and did nothing, so all you can blame is yourself. Their whole shtick was so phony to me, and according to Dan & Jordan, they were homophobic and said not only things about the lesbian team but towards Jordan, specifically Jet. So for them to lose to Jordanās gay ass? Oh absolutely I was ecstatic. I also loved Dan & Jordanās relationship and they were underdogs in the finale so the ending was so so so good for me! Some other stand out moments: Jody getting whacked in the head by the cowās foot, the sauerkraut eating, champagne glass stacking, giant puzzle that kept blowing with the wind, Brent rushing Caite cause he had to make a poo, the Star Wars task, & the final memory comp.Ā
why are the cowboys so loved by locals theyāre so boring and stale
