En route to another destination for the night, we dropped by the new Brew on Jianshe 6 Ma Lu (Taojin). The Brew is a successful sports bar brand in Guangzhou, with their first location in Panyu and then a 2nd in Zhujiang New Town.

This Brew is popular among expats and locals alike, as there is reliable satellite broadcast for live sports events (football/hockey/soccer/F1 to name a few). Their walls display a variety of memorabilia with a focus on Canadian ones for the nostalgic expats.

We only get our drinks here, but they do have a full menu for quality burgers, Buffalo wings, nachos in North-American style, and a wide selection of drafts and imported bottles including a good Moosehead. Whether you enjoy relaxing Canadian folk music on the background or live bands playing with a very attractive female lead singer, it is certainly a delightful pub experience in this busy restaurant neighborhood.

Came in for their jazz event advertised elsewhere. I was expecting a gloomy corner with some indie music, but... whoa!

The dining area is big with a raised floor on the end, where you can see the semi-open kitchen.

Some expat foodie friend recommended their mussels (afaik they do direct import) - so I ordered this seafood pasta. Fresh juicy mussels and fat prawns there. Full and satisfied!! I might take that lamb chop next round!! Menu is international and from an Aussie chef.

An international mix of band members came in and started playing at about 10pm. Pleasant place to chill-out with a cocktail, or their interesting selection of wines and beers!
