"It's fine," he waved it off with a grin, putting his key in the ignition. "I mean, she's a bit intimidating, but I guess she's probably just protective," he shrugged, pulling away from my house. I gave him a nod, looking out the window as we drove along. We were going to see a movie, though I couldn't even remember which one we'd agreed on. It'd be fine, though. Dark lights, not many people, a movie neither of us cared about... ...shit.

Eventually, we reached my classroom. "I'll see you later," he said, the two of us standing near the door. I gave him a nod and a smile, starting to head inside. "Oh, and…Ciera?" I turned back to him with a questioning look. "Really excited for our date on Friday," he shot me a grin, a slight blush on his cheeks making me turn red as well. "Yeah. Totally," I smiled at his retreating figure, hoping to God that Katherine and Ariel wouldn't have too much fun with me over this. Though, I supposed, it would be worth it.
