#tan dollar

These guys never fail at putting a smile on my face. I wasn't seeing signs of any new material being released all of late 2011 to early 2012. All I knew of and heard about were shows they'd play here and there. That being said, I was extremely excited when I found out TD recorded and released these 3 astral pop songs on the new 2012 EP 'Diary of Our Journey to the Netherlands'. In any state of mind no matter how shitty or "perfect" your day was, you can easily get into this--let alone get into what this band has to offer. The songs pull you into a euphoric state of comfort and nostalgia. In a sense, resembling that feeling you get after experiencing a first kiss with a significant someone. The guitar tracks were what impressed me the most about these new tracks. They're layered together very well without it sounding too meshed together and half-assed, creating melodies that are catchy as fuck. Ilya (bass) and Mike (drums) also do an amazing job at holding down the structure of each song. Don't derprive yourself of this. Also make sure to check out their 2011 releases, 'Cursed' and 'Uneven' as well. Every release only gets better and better. The new EP is available for FREE on their bandcamp.
