Of course, we've gotta talk about Talviel. Because I can.

Talviel is a Nord-Imperial chef born and raised in Riften. At 16, she joined the Thieves Guild and soon rose through the ranks to become one of the Guild's best all-rounders. Now in her early 30s, she's mostly given up a life of crime to travel Tamriel as a wandering chef and part-time activist, which she's done for over half a decade. Of course, that makes her a battle-seasoned adventurer (and the Dragonborn but we're ignoring that for the NPC energy here).

Things she might say in passing would include: 'Yikes, that may be cast iron but you really don't know how to scrub, huh?' 'Sheogorath may have suggested cheese for everyone, but I propose cheese just for me.' 'Let's have a mead break. I know I say that a lot, but adventuring is thirsty work.'

Talviel as a follower fights with either a bow or dual wield daggers. She's a sneaky bean and prefers distance kills to melee fighting if she can help it. As for being safe? The girl is hella neurotic sometimes, so yes, I'd say so.

Talviel is almost too patient and mild-mannered for her own good, which has gotten her out of many bad situations without anyone getting hurt. She's aware of how powerful she is and never uses the Thu'um unless directly threatened, or if she's really, really upset. When her first horse died, she accidentally destroyed a sizeable amount of forest in grief, hurting a few people and animals in the process, and afterwards swore to control her power. Karliah is basically her therapist at this point.

I think the thing Talviel likes most is being on the road and learning and absorbing new experiences and cultures. Ever since she left Skyrim, she hasn't had a huge desire to move back, spending a couple of months there at most before moving onto her next destination. The thing she dislikes about that lifestyle is leaving behind all the people (and comfort foods) she misses, but good old Courier always delivers her letters on time!

Talviel doesn't have many hobbies outside of working, which probably isn't very healthy. Aside from travel, cooking, and eating, she's a keen reader and is contemplating applying to a university (her writing isn't the best, having never been formally schooled, but she's got the spirit)!
