This will be the only time I address this, this isn't a fun topic and I don't want to dwell on this.
To the person who has been going around to multiple people within the submas fandom sending asks en mass, on anon and on a burner account, please stop and think about your actions a bit more. I will not post your ask publicly because you are intentionally trying to incite others to hate/harassment. The way you've gone about this issue is incredibly immature and hateful. You've cause a lot of stress to many others, many of whom I'm friends or aquainted with, by actively harassing them and myself. Your tone with what you've sent to us was in not even given with the intent to be helpful or actually concerned to inform people, it was actively malicious.
Was what you said and about who specifically something I had known prior? No. Do I approve of what you've accused these people of engaging with? Absolutely not, but it's also both not my job to police what others are doing online, and not my business what others choose to engage with on the internet so long as they are not harassing or harming others.
I hate witch hunts. It does not matter whether or not said accusations are true or not, inciting a witch hunt is never the answer. Within this fandom specifically this has been an ongoing problem. All this has ever really managed to accomplish is making everyone in this space feel unsafe, fearful of mistakes or misunderstandings, and unwelcome, regardless of their stance on the topic. This is exactly why over time I began to interact less and less with this fandom. I really enjoyed my time with others here being creative and having good times bonding over a shared hobby, but it's become so much harder to want to engage with the community at all if this is how these situations will go down every single time. This enviornment actively caused stress and a waning lack of enjoyment and interest in the fandom, for both me and several others I've spoken with. You are part of this problem, and are encouraging behavior that has left many no choice but to leave the fandom for their own well being.
Some advice to you: I hope in the future you learn to handle these issues with more care and tact, be kinder to others and currate your own online experience instead of putting the strain on others purely to stir some drama. Block what you don't want to see, move on, and I'm sure you and all of us will have a much better online experience in fandom and in general.
Also just to everyone reading this, please be nice to each other. Or just polite and move on from people/topics you don't like and have a better day, the block button is your friend. Please. This is exhausting.
