Appendix read-along giveaway
For the mini-appendix readalong bingo cards talcaluin and I will be running a giveaway (with the approval of @tolkienreadalong!). The prizes won’t be much, but they’ll be handmade by me, talcaluin and carnetdesipho (and if anyone wants to add something, you’re all more than welcome!). Prizes will include picture requests, so don’t worry if you aren’t comfortable giving your address. The categories are:
Bingo cards (one winner per card): one entry for each three slots in a row (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) or 4 squares in one card, two entries for two rows or any 6 squares in one card, four entries for a black out (all squares in one board complete). There will also be a prize for the person who completes the most squares, regardless of the amount of entries!
Most original posts: this is a prize for the person who posts the largest number of original posts in the tolkienreadalong tag since the beginning of this read-along. You must either be the original poster or have added substantially to the post for it to qualify. This will only be awarded if someone has put at least 8 original posts in the tag.
Contributing to the enjoyment of the read-along: this is a prize for a blog which was felt to help the spirit or enjoyment of the read-along. This could be posting cool stuff which we look forward to seeing or making people feel included, or anything else that makes the read-along better. This will be decided by us and the people who still hang out on readalong chat, with and opportunity for nominations before the decision.
Any blog can only receive one prize (so more people get to win!). If you want to participate in the bingo cards giveaway, you’ll have to make a roundup post and send it to us up to one week after the readalong is over (here’s an example from a past giveaway) - that way we’ll make sure no one is left out!
So, the prizes! What are they?
Each winner gets either a piece of caligraphy done by carnetdesipho or a papercut card or poster made by me.
And an A4 Black and White drawing of one character by talcaluin (here’s her gallery) for each winner of any draw.
