We Removed Something You Posted We removed the post below because it doesn't follow the Facebook Community Standards: This was the statement I received from facebook after I posted this and it went Viral. Anthony Cantrell So I'll just touch on the issue of confederate flags. Mostly Because I'm sick of people defending it. First and foremost the confederates were formed by 7 slave states who seceded from the union because Lincoln refused to expand slavery. This secession was illegal. It was what we'd consider an act of treason now days. So why would we honor a flag and cling to it when it stands for treason? That time has long passed. This sense of southern heritage and pride is full of an underlying pretense of racism. I'm not saying every southern person is racist somehow. But I don't think anyone in a southern state can say they haven't witnessed it. People can argue that those 7 states were afraid of hurting their own economic structure. But anyone with any sense knows that's simply not true. The truth is that The Confederate States thought they could win a war and take over. They didn't want to secede and be left alone to form a new country. They knew their actions meant war. In fact they attacked first...and of all places it was in Charleston, South Carolina. Where we currently have this kind of racist issue still in the center of someone's mind and beliefs enough for him to shoot and kill unarmed, innocent people solely based upon skin color. It's not the 1800's and despite what you may feel or believe...NO the south will not rise again and if they ever tried they'd be met with so much resistance and complete total swift kick in the ass all the way to modern times. The Confederate Flag is not a symbol of heritage. It's a symbol of separation. A symbol that someone chose to leave The United States of America and then turn and attack them. We call those people terrorist now days. I'm not saying that people don't have the right to wave that flag. In fact many black soldiers fight for your right as an American so that you can. Does that make it the right thing to do as a good decent honorable person? Do you honor your troops whom had slaves for ancestors in this country? No. It's not a political issue. It's a heart issue. If something you do offends a majority of an entire race. Then there's probably a reason? The reason is Racism. If I said "Ku Klux Klan" You would immediately think of a racist hate group. Do you know who founded The KKK? 6 Confederate Veterans. Who killed black people and left them in the middle of the road, burnt their houses. All to intimidate and spread lawlessness. If this is a heritage and past that you feel proud of that's a serious issue in your intelligence. That shows that in the last 150 years you and your ancestors have grown as a person spiritually and intellectually at a rate of....nothing....If that's how you think to start a war on black people I'm sorry to say...you have failed you ignorant fools...in addition to that black people are now officially smarter and more successful than you'll ever be. Despite being suppressed and denied education for years as slaves. You don't believe me. Who is the current President of the United States? Dear South Confederate lovers. You are now slaves and suppressed due to your own heritage. Goodluck on your rising again and whatever nonsense you spout. Pick up a book and open your hearts. Maybe you'll finally find the capacity to learn.
