IT begins
IT was restless, today would be the day its offspring finally would hatch. How IT had prepared for that day, build the nest as comfortable as possible with many blankets, pillows and enough padding to keep even the most sensitive of creature save. The egg had grown to the size of an ostrich egg and showed thin hatching lines that were getting stronger the more hours went by. Pennywise was staring at it longingly, normally cruel and apathetic about anything that was going on around it, this time however, it felt the heaviness of what was to come. This was the only offspring that had survived those blasted childrens fiendish attack and thus Pennywise was especially careful around it. The pain it felt as each and everyone of them got killed nearly broke its heart and agony was still present in the creature deep down. But they would pay for what they`ve done, they would pay with everything that was dear to them...
A smile creeped on the entities features as another crack was seen. IT would be a good parent, a good teacher for that little deadlight inside. IT would be different than its own creator, Gray, the other one was even older than ITself which was a feat for itself(given their lifespans were nearly eternal either way). Now the egg started to shake and jerk around stronger. Pennywise loomed over it with a pensive look. Would it hatch without problems? This was IT’s first offspring so it wasn’t sure if the surroundings would make it harder for the hatchling to emerge from the thin layer that protected it. Stroking over the surface of its future offspring, it retreated its hand as soon the crack on top got bigger and thicker, making the top half falling down on the ground, revealing the inside. A tiny being was curled up, white as porcelain, wet with blood and other fluids that kept it save inside the egg. The outer side continued to break until it was gone completely and a small wet bundle was laying on the ground, whimpering. IT’s tiny arms and legs started to move, in search for a source of warmth.
With a gasp, Pennywise leaned down and picked up it’ spawn carefully, looking at it with all the affection it could muster. It was a strange feeling but one that the clown found as not scary at all. With the gentleness of a mother cat, Pennywise licked the remains of the fluids and blood off the small being, cradling the creature in it’s arms while doing so, sitting down on the nest to make it more comfortable. After sufficient cleaning, it looked at the small ones face and couldn’t help but to delve into pure bliss. IT’s mewling became more quiet as it snuggled into the other deadlight, happy over the new warmth and comfort it felt for the first time in its short live. Nuzzling its offspring with its bright clown nose, Pennywise continued to cradle the small bundle until it fell asleep, snoring softly. It laid its baby down in the nest, one last time taking in its small features before turning around, leaving the lair for hunting. They needed food and as its offspring was asleep now, it was a good time doing so. Covering it with a thick layer of padding, Pennywise vanished into thin air on the search for food, not before creating a barreer for its offspring that would protect it while Pennywise was gone... A couple hours later:
IT returned to a loud whimpering sound. The child must have been awake by now, Pennywise assumed, quickly throwing the prey it had hunted on the ground, heading over to the small baby, picking it up gently. It must have been hungry, the perfect timing Pennywise thought. “Calm down, all is well, i will take care of you, little one...”it hushed, voice gentle, barely a whisper. It walked over to it’s favorite spot, grabbing one of the bodies, dragging it with them. Pennywise laid down the infant on the soft underground while chewing up an arm of the victim in front. IT chewed it long enough until it was mushy in consistence, perfect for a growing deadlight to feast on. Taking the baby in it’s arm again, it began to feed the small entity with its chewed up food, carefully in not giving too much.
//“Eat up and grow strong...”//it said via telepathy, smiling. After finishing the feeding, Pennywise thought that IT had to name it’s offspring. “What should i call you...”it muttered to itself, looking at the small baby in its arms. The baby cooed happily now, making little clicking sounds. “Maybe i will call you Junior, there can’t be two Pennywises so you need another name. Yes, that sounds good, what do you think?” looking down, Pennywise could see how the baby started to giggle. That was enough for the entity and it nodded. “So be it. Your name will be Junior!” it purred gently, stroking the other’s face with its hand.
And Gan would be its witness...this one would survive, no matter what.
//Sooo, a little backstory for Papa and how Junior came to be haha. The timeline is fluid so that i can change it if needed.
