Hey, imaginedaredevil followers! As we kick off a new year, I want to catch you up to speed of the happenings on this blog. As of today, I am the sole owner of imaginedaredevil. I am sad to see a wonderful admin and brilliant author, @justmerlinhere, go. I hope that Merlin’s future is bright and wonderful, just like they are!
A year ago, I loved coming onto this blog and browsing the many amazing imagines. I would laugh at the funny ones and ponder the angst-y ones. I remember seeing this blog as some ultra exclusive popular blog that I could only dream of being a part of. Now that I have inherited this blog, I am going to drop some truth. Imaginedaredevil isn’t what it used to be. There has been a steady decline in the amount of activity on this blog and we took notice. By introducing drabbles, we thought we could get more people to follow but rather we were faced with a burden. We removed drabbles and opted to focus on just milling out imagines. I tried to implement a new style of imagines but I didn’t receive any feedback about it. Help me understand, y’all. I want to know what can make this blog successful.
I am soon going to start my final semester of college! This is such a great feat of mine and I am bubbling with excitement for the future. With school coming and having to do an internship, understand that this blog won’t be my top priority. More than likely I will make time to work on imagines so just be aware that I may be busy.
Though I may sound redundant, I genuinely want to know what major changes I need to make imaginedaredevil the fun blog I fell in love with before. Please let me know by sending me an ask! I will be taking any questions and/or suggestions.
Other imagine blogs that I see from time to time have tiny drabbles about the imagine. Is that something y’all would want to see?
In popular imagine blogs, they focus on a whole bunch of characters. After I stepped up to the plate as head admin, I received a ton of backlash about introducing the Defenders into this blog. As of right now, you can submit imagines with anybody as long as there are Daredevil ties to it.
If you need me to make trigger warning tags on certain posts, please let me know.

I've noticed that you haven't posted in a while. Is that because of lack of requests or personal reasons? I don't want to pry or push you, I just want to know why I'm not getting notifications from this amazing blog.
Hey there, anon! Thank you for your concern. I don’t have any personal reasons but I do want to address the lack of imagines I am receiving. Ever since December 18, I have not gotten a single imagine. As much as I love you all dearly, I want to ask why. If so many of you claim that there are so many possibilities in the Daredevil universe, where is that creativity here? There is a huge disconnect. I wish y’all could take that energy into giving me amazing imagines. This has been a problem ever since requests have been on a decline for quite some time. My best guess is because of the introduction of the Defenders like Jessica Jones and Luke Cage (both phenomenal shows). I am not going to put blame on anyone but I do want everyone to know that this blog depends on you. You hold the creative energy. You all drive this blog to be amazing. Your likes and reblogs also have a tremendous impact on the popularity of imaginedaredevil. I am simply the person making the imagines and together we are imaginedaredevil. I hope this blog can find that spark again. I do not want to give up on this blog but sometimes I feel like no one is really paying attention. I do not want to lose such a great community here on this blog. xx

aw, thank you so much!! it’s been awhile since i’ve actually kept up with this blog. the declining disinterest from everybody ever since the show got cancelled, i wondered if there was any point in keep this blog up at all. i was trying to tinker around the format of these imagines ever since i became the only mod here but i didn’t get too much feedback, which is totally okay because i know this blog hasn’t really been the same since daredevil’s popularity and the popularity of imagine blogs like this one.
to be honest, if you want an imagine blurb/drabble, you can ask here. however, if you want something more complex, one that involves a prompt and isn’t simply a “imagine if...”, head over to my writing blog @hoedameron where i am trying my hardest to get back into writing where motivation is all lost. thanks for asking!

Actually I havent sent imagines in because I sent a few in a while back that never got made and I assumed because of this that you had so many imagines you just got exhausted and stopped making them (I've seen that happen to a lot of request blogs). But if you are still making them, I will send them
And I am glad you sent them in! I will get on top of it because I kinda lost some steam along the way. Some imagines that I have gotten seem a bit redundant and I want to see more characters be used. We need more love for every character out there!! I am always accepting imagines xx
I've taken upon myself to delete some of the asks from the other day because of the negativity some people have posted. Please, if you want to fight, keep it to yourself. This isn't the blog to discuss social issues since it's a blog for imagines of Daredevil. I'm not that strong of an individual and yeah, some of the things said really hurt me. I want people to be educated but at the same time I must think about myself first. Be kind, spread kindness, and be tough as hell when need be.
