ideal morning for me as always been the idea of waking up effortlessly at 6am, running a 5k in beautiful weather, coming home to shower and fix a big breakfast while i plan my day, preferably on the comfort of a back patio that has a beautiful view and no bugs, resting easy with the knowledge that i will have the energy necessary to make it through the day without passing the fuck out at any point (thanks narcolepsy).

ideal evening is coming home from wherever i am and having the energy to clean what needs to be cleaned, cook a healthy and filling dinner, get in pajamas, and sit down to whatever i feel like doing (and having the attention span to do it), maybe write, maybe watch a movie or tv, maybe read. then falling asleep at 10pm.

really my ideal is to have 1. energy and 2. attention span, which are the biggest things i struggle with. i already kind of live my ideal life, but shifted a few hours later than i want it and with sporadic/unpredictable bouts of energy followed by intense lulls (again, thanks narcolepsy). 

2. Is there a trope you’ve yet to try your hand at, but really want to?

you know i’ve never really written the kind of fic i like to read, which is just light-hearted rom com style AUs. whenever i try they end up getting filled with feels.

3. Is there a trope you wouldn’t touch with a ten foot pole?

casefic. i tried it once and failed miserably.

35. Would you ever kill off a canon character?

have and would again.

right now i’m fiddling with an alt canon kylux fic called Damage Control.

26. Do you beta yourself? If so, what kind of beta are you?

i beta for a few people but i try to keep the crew small because i have a very limited attention span and sometimes i get so bored by fics that i physically can’t finish them so i don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings. 

but despite what @experimintal believes i consider myself a considerate beta because i’ll only fix things to the standard i think the author wants to write to. that is to say, i try to develop an overall impression of a fic, and then make notes to what i perceive the author’s overall vision to be, not what i want or expect out of it.

this ask game is fucking old haha. ok, hmm, 2014. what the hell did i do in 2014.

ah yes, that’s right, i took a vow of celibacy in/around 2014. no sex for me.

21. Do you plan on sleeping in tomorrow?

i have a pretty rigid sleep schedule in an effort to manage my narcolepsy, so i wake up every day between 9 and 10am. 

25. Have you held hands with anyone lately?

aw, no, and it’s sad because that’s one of my favorite things.

36. Do you have drama in your life?

ehh, there’s always a little bit. i’m having a feud with one of my doctors. there’s some family stuff going on. a couple things involving a few friend groups that i can’t talk about because some of them have tumblrs. it’s all manageable. i don’t let it get to me.
