Oh gosh. So. First instinct is "Veryn as an NPC who everyone gets to meet and do a quest for" :p

There's a ton of things I'd want to add, but I think I'm gonna settle on Photo Mode today. A fully free camera, filters, customising your character for the photo mode, setting weather and time of day, possibly plop in some set pieces all without a hitch.

Or maybe more European style cities... Or playing The Sims with your housing and settlements. Or... Or... Or...

25. What is a weird, hyper-specific detail you know about one of your characters that is completely irrelevant to the story?

Honestly? I kind of have no idea on this one. I think I probably know a lot of things about any of my OCs that aren't relevant, because that's just sort of how I vibe, but I wouldn't say any of them are hyper-specific. I do think that Nadine, in Modern AU Skyrim at least, has strong feelings about pineapple on pizza. What those feelings are is for you to decide. ;)

34. Thoughts on the Oxford comma, Go:

LOVE it. I wear my Oxford comma sluttery proudly. I mean, I love commas anyway, because who the fuck needs to breathe during a sentence? But I especially love commas when they remove any and all ambiguousness. Oxford Comma 4 Life.

40. Please share a poem with me, I need it. As soon as I read this question, every single poem I've ever read or heard left my head, but thankfully the first one that did come to me was this phenomenal poem by Faiz Ahmed Faiz:

Sure thing! Two pictures is a good opportunity for "at work" vs "at home" thing!

Thanks for the ask! Of all my characters, Visla is the one with the most appreciation for snacks. She hardly ever sits still long enough to have a full meal, so she always carries something to eat when she gets a break. Her favorite is probably granola bars since they're small but keep her energized.

The clash of steel rang once again through the castle, echoing off every stone wall, padded only by the overabundance of cushy chairs almost everywhere.

Nothing cushy about the man he fought, though.

Would-be Duke Ambrose Lysander flashed his blade again, a broadsword as overly decorated as his home. Caiden caught it, knocking it aside, but Ambrose came back like a flash of light. Again Caiden blocked, but he wasn’t gaining ground. The clang of their swords rang up his arm and in his ears.

He couldn’t keep this up. Unlike Ambrose, he hadn’t trained his whole life with a sword. Other weapons – not swords. Not for dueling.

Now it was all he could do to keep Ambrose’s blade away, trying to keep pace with the nobleman’s sheer speed and skill – but he managed. Blocking, parrying. Even taking one heavy step forward was enough to send Ambrose leaping back like a cat. Keeping him back was one thing, actually hitting him was another.

“All that strength, Voros,” Ambrose snarled as he circled around him, keeping Caiden alert. Turning him in a circle. Trying to get to his back – but Caiden didn’t let him. “What good does it do you now?”

They came together again, a deafening sound, steel against steel. Still no one hit. Still only the flares of anger and hatred from both of them, so strong now Caiden could barely keep a grip – but no drawn blood.

“Strength with no skill does not bring victory,” Ambrose rattled on even as his sword danced—

And his blade broke through. Steel bit into Caiden’s neck, pain lancing deep. Hot blood pooled at his collar – he staggered back with a grunt, pressing his free hand on the rush of warmth.

Again Ambrose charged.

But this time, Caiden ignored his sword-arm and threw a punch instead. It caught Ambrose right in the head and nailed him flat. He went down on his back and stayed there.
