Hi! So I noticed we have a few things in common (cp, tsoa, tw, fangirl) and was wondering if you have any books/shows to recommend that are somewhat similar to those? Thank you! (and I really enjoyed your cp posts!!)

Incidentally, in my old review of CP I wrote how it reminded me of the show Spartacus, very CP feeling. Also, one of my favorite couples is in there-Argon x Nasir.Â
The Magpie Lord Series by KJ Charles-amazing series about magic, crime in magic, with historical themes.Â
Special Forces by Aleksandr Voinov- I feel like this novel is way more intense than CP, and if you check it out and decide to read it, then let me know so I can give you some trigger warnings. Like I said itâs intense, but amazing.Â
Stockholm Syndrome (Stockholm Syndrome, #1) by Rider, Richard- Another intense ride, so same thing-come to me for trigger warnings.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz-maybe youâve read this, but since Iâm throwing all this intense books, this is a book that will stick with you forever, but doesnât have all the heavy stuff like the other books.Â
Axelâs Pup (Werewolves & Dragons, #1) by Dare, Kim- since you like TW, this has werewolves, and the whole trope of hurt/comfortâI stayed up late for this book, and every time I think about it; this is how you write a book about hurt/comfort.
The Thirds Series by Charlie Cochet-Werewolves series, with their own set of rules.
In the Absence of Light by Adrienne Wilder- this one will make you laugh, cry and have all kinds of emotions. I have a feeling about this novel, and I swear Iâm going to read this one again soon.
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins-Personally, I loved this book, and it has this light feeling attached to it, and I associate it with Fangirl. That same feeling of reading a book so sweet, and just a bit magical.Â
As far as tv shows similar to CP try Spartacus, might not be for everyone, but it has that sense of the rules being different from our world.If you love some sci-fi, with awesome theories for AU you have to check out Fringe (miss that show). Iâm currently in love with Orphan Black and I could gush about that show for hours. For any other shows that I personally love since I generally watch a load of shows let me know!
