Hiiii!👋🏻 I haven't posted in a while. I've been deep in the writing cave for a while and taking to my stories to keep up with everyone. That being said, I've been thinking about this post in the last week or so, since I had an epiphany. . The books in this photo mean a lot to me for many reasons. But the thing that bonds them most is that they're TABOO. Stories of forbidden romance that many close-minded people out there may scoff at or try to condemn. Or worse... dare they say this isn't romance. . Taboo IS romance. It doesn't matter if it's unconventional or confusing or even wrong to some. Forbidden romance is more than just something slightly outside the realm of normal. It's boundary-pushing and complex, and captivating on a level many people won't understand. . But I understand it. And I love it. So if you stand with Taboo Romance, stand with these authors, and all the others who dare to write things that make boring people balk. @thesierrasimone @lucia_franco_ @authorkwebster @penelope.douglas (I'm on a mission to buy every paperback by all these authors so I can fill my shelves with talent that is different and raw) and many more that I'm so excited to spend my days reading, and learning from. . And sitting my own book, my own taboo romance, amongst these talented authors who inspire me every day, makes me feel more genuine and more grateful to this community than I could ever imagine. #istandwithlucia because it's not just about her books and a bunch of haters who can't possibly fathom a world if romance outside their guidelines. It's about being able to write and publish without censorship or shame. It's about creative freedom and artistic expression. It's about history and the future. #tabooISromance .
