Swaths of sunlight shone a deep crimson over the horizon. Clouds were parted perfectly along the edges and contours of the gleam, making it look more etherealy golden and painted. A haze of darkness descended slowly with the passing ticks of clocks galore, marking the end of another day.
While plenty of time remained for outdoor activities, soon the lunar illuminations would take over and twilight would plunge the world in it’s grasp. The limited light mixing with the evergrowing darkness brought many comparisons to mind:
Coloured liquids mixing together in a jar, turning their separate hues into new vibrant pigments.
Metal being melted down to molten form, combined with various other elements like silicone, carbon or nickel, and hammered into the shape of swords, barriers and coins.
Starts pulsing with power, pushing outward with radiation toward the universe and inward with gravity toward their cores.
Three entirely different levels of life that could all contribute to this sensation of time.
And so much more.
Oh, day fall could be beautiful.
