Stand offs due to paper possession are not uncommon. Usually it’s Tabitha that backs down though. Charcoal protects Gear’s toys with a little too much enthusiasm sometimes.

So Gearbox (not pictured) loves to play with brown wrapping paper. It’s his favorite thing. Tabitha’s favorite thing is to annoy Gearbox. And Charcoal wants to protect her baby and everything he loves.Â
So, now that is out of the way, there is a never ending battle for every new piece of paper that comes through the house. Tabitha loves sit on the paper, sniff it, bat at it, especially if she knows a black cat is nearby. Sometimes it ends in a minor showdown as Gear or Charcoal defend the paper. Happy Halloween!
Apparently it's backwards day. Â For whatever reason, the cat that doesn't like to sit still long enough for me to take pictures took the time to pose, with not one, but both pumpkins. Â The reason this is even more funny is that my grandmother was just asking why there wasn't any pictures of Tabitha up on my blog. Â Well, cause normally she doesn't sit still. Â
The other cats however, who do normally sit still, were hardly anywhere to be seen. Â I just got the single picture of Charcoal peering around the pumpkin, deciding she would just be a pair of eyes. Â They aren't scared of them, they just decided not to care about new objects in the house for once.
