Happy new year from your favorite miniature Labrador! This is what we wake up to every morning.  Bedroom door opens, Gearbox busts through and announces hes starving.

It was a catio!  Little bit of chicken wire and some faux ivy and we have a functioning, cat proof sunning area.  They love it.  Like super love it.

Gearbox, aside from being a ham, is a big boy.   So sometimes we buy him plush dog toys, douse them in catnip and let him play. Maybe someday I’ll catch him rolling around with one of the toys.

(I was trying to sleep, child, until you started crying at me from above.)

Gearbox love his paper. It’s his favorite thing.  He cries when we have to eventually throw it away.  New paper is always the best treat.

I spent a lot of time this last month working on various fiber projects, being as I am a seamstress of sorts.  Gearbox decided he was going to test out one of my weighted lap blankets.  The rocks I use to give them heft apparently hold heat pretty well and makes for a comfortable resting place.

Guess who’s not suppose to be on tables?  This child.
