while good luck was sparse for felix, he hadn’t expected his bad luck to strike as hard in one night. in addition to the unfavorable task of being chosen to watch over the camper cabins, his partner in crime for the night was extremely unfavorable. tabitha’s presence had never been admired by felix ever since their rocky interactions as campers, and it surely wasn’t helpful that felix’s anger often got the better of him these days. felix had planned to ignore tabitha as much as possible during their shift, but his plans were quickly derailed. just as felix had left the boy’s cabin to get some air, he noticed that tabitha had the same idea. although he already started to duck back into the cabin, it was quite clear that tabitha had noticed him. he tilted his head back and took a few reluctant steps up to tabitha, making it clear that he wasn’t too thrilled by crossing his arms and slouching his shoulders. “not too bad, was it?” he questioned in a dry tone, purposely trying expose his disinterest. although felix didn’t seem to be too harsh in the moment, even he knew that he could be set off easily by any of her actions.

the woman would pretend like she nearly just didn't trip up over her own feet as she exited the designated smoking area to go back towards the bar. "yeah, let's mix it up now. the flatline please." clarissa had been on the vodka soda but always got to the point where she'd switch and regret it. the bartender gave her the drink. "thank you." she nodded as she took it from the bar and took a refreshing sip -not half bad. her eyebrow raised as she nodded her head and took another sip, then her eyebrows raised even wider when she saw tabby. "tabitha. hello." her words were elongated slightly, a little more theatrical than her sober state. "lovely to see you." she can't help but eye the other up and down quickly. "you're looking well."
Elias thinks it’s kind of funny, how some of his friendships, and some of his favorite ones at that, are so unexpected. He met Tabby through Casey, which he is thankful for now, and the two cannot be more different. At least on the surface. She is a lot more sunshine than he is, and it’s nice to be around that sometimes. He feels bad for not thanking her probably for helping him put together the cribs, and so with a quick text that she is indeed at work, and she is okay with him stopping by, he grabs them both a large cup of coffee and heads over. Finding her is fairly easy, and when he does he holds the cup of coffee up by way of greeting, eyebrows raised “you have a free moment?” he asks, but then his eyes light up “or, even better idea. You could take me on a tour. Let me pet a lion.” @tabbycatlevine
He has to build four cribs, despite them only have two babies on the way. He has to build four cribs because he’s too chicken shit to ask Casey to move in with him and he’s pretty sure she’ll say no, anyway. He wants his kids close, at home with him, but for now, until that conversation comes up, he has to build four cribs. He knows that he could pay someone to do this, shell out some cash or hand over his credit card, go out and get coffee or go shopping and by the time he’s back they’ll be built, but he feels like that’s a cop out, that from the beginning, Casey and the twins deserve his best effort.
But, that doesn’t mean he can’t ask for help. Tabby has been asking him if he needed help with anything, baby wise and he thinks, since she works with animals on a daily basis, she’s more than equipped to deal with this, and well, him. So he calls her, and she agrees to come over and he’s so grateful, feels like he owes her.
They’re working on the second one, and he’s got his sleeves rolled up and his hair is out of place and the look on his face is filled with frustration. He groans when he can’t find a piece he needs “I swear to god I’m not having any more kids after these two. I refuse to do more of this” he says, giving her a look. @tabbycatlevine

felix would love to have kids in the future and knows that he would want to send them to camp stillwater. camp stillwater is obviously a very important part of his life, and he would want it to be a part of his kids’ lives as well.

felix is the master of crying during movies. while he’ll fully sob in movies like titanic or the notebook, unconventional movies such as the karate kid will really get him crying. his high school friends used to loathe taking felix to see new films because they knew he’d be sobbing through the majority of it.
