The Agent and the Conduit-Lir/Delsin [closed rp]
POWER LEVELS: SIGNIFICANT
The message flashed across her contact screens, accompanied by the usual red haze of an alert. Lir touched her bracer lightly, the large letters disappearing to leave only the GPS tracker active; a gold dot flickered on the map displayed in front of her eyes, distance and coordinates in small print beneath the detailed image replication of the surrounding area.
āDeactivate alert coloringā, she murmured-she kept meaning to do that, the colors flooding her vision every time an alert was issued were a problem, especially when they might distract her from an actual danger.
The time agent slipped her brand new biker jacket on over her newly acquired casual wear, wincing a little. The outfit was nice, jeans and a long-sleeved T-shirt with a logo in glitter (Fashion Fades, Style is Eternal) and there was no arguing that the soft black sneakers were a hell of a lot more comfortable than her boots, but she feltā¦naked without her body armor, especially given she was walking into a potentially volatile situation. There was nothing for it, though; the armor would attract too much attention.
āInfo on conduits; skeleton version, only basicsā, she murmured to her computer, for all the world seeming as if she was talking to the phone she held to her ear-another purchase made for reasons if blending in, or thatāsĀ what she would report it as. SheĀ was bringingĀ the device back home with her, she smiled faintly, an addition to her collection; the same held true of the clothes.
The gold dot on her contact screens grew larger, a proximity alert flashing over the map for a moment-no color to accompany it. Lir stuck the phone in a pocket, looking ahead. There was a man standing a short way from where she had stopped. She blinked the small amount of information scrolling across her screens away; it wasnāt much. Apparently the agency hadnāt really dealt with this kind of thing much.
