NOIR CITY Arrives in Detroit Next Week
NOIR CITY: Detroit returns to the city's historic Redford Theatre on Friday, September 23, for a three-day/eight-film run.
FNF president and founder Eddie Muller will host the 2022 festival which will include a Saturday evening reception and Q&A at 6 p.m. with the Czar of Noir for All-Access Pass holders. The festival kicks off on Friday with Eddie presenting his favorite film, Nicholas Ray's In a Lonely Place (1950), in a double feature with Southside 1-1000 (1950). The FNF's latest restoration project, The Argyle Secrets (1948), will screen on a double bill with Antony Mann's T-Men (1947) on Saturday afternoon. Another festival highlight will be the Saturday night pairing of Nightmare Alley (1947) and The Spiritualist (1948).
