Produced by Shirley Moyers. The official video for the recorded version of "This Too Shall Pass" off of the album "Of the Blue Colour of the Sky". The video was filmed in a two story warehouse, in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles, CA. The "machine" was designed and built by the band, along with members of Syyn Labs (http://syynlabs.com/) over the course of several months. Just got a demo of the WorldViz immersive 3D system at IMTECH with the Syyn Labs crew. Really fun stuff and a little disorientating during the "flying" the piazza scene. Thunderous brainstorming for future applications ensued...
Yes this Ok Go music video is old ("This Too Shall Pass"). But its Rube Goldberg machine is so fun to watch. DIY spirit, despite being uber-technical and built by a bunch of massively talented engineers (Syyn Labs).

Adam Sadowsky is president of Syyn Labs, a company formed in 2008 by a group of creative engineers who "twist together art and technology." Or, as Sadowsky described from the stage of the F5 Festival in New York City, they're "a drinking club with a technology problem." Sadowsky showed some breathtaking projects, and gave an entertaining breakdown of the time and effort that went into making the OK Go/This Too Shall Pass Rube Goldberg-inspired video, which everyone has seen a million times but is always delightful to watch again. In particular, look for the scene towards the very end of the one-shot video, when the Steadicam-wielding cameraman had to jump over a stray barrel in order not to muck up the shot.
