*The door to the store opens and you see a familiar face as a fox eared and tailed woman walks in with her three lamias. Her honey bo, Jazz, her Papython, Sweets, and her King, Captain as well as herself are all carrying ice cream containers, Captain and herself carrying big ones. She smiles at Vex and gently sets one of the containers down. "I made some apple pie ice cream and my boys and I wanted to share it with you and everyone here who would like some."*
*Vex’s eyes light up. Apple Pie Ice Cream? Yes please. It’s a perfect fall flavor! Some helpful Papythons fetch bowls and spoons even though Cornies have already showed up and are picking up handfuls of ice cream to eat. Belle and Lieutenant Cherry confiscate one small tub of ice cream for the Commander nest, and they have left you an extremely shiny penny as thanks!
*Even the lamia bittybones who don’t normally eat sweets like Papythons and Kings accept a bowl of the ice cream, and every bitty in the shop (plus you, Vex, and Honey) happily noms a few scoops of the chilly treat.Â
*Even with Edgar’s supervision, the baby lamias get ice cream everywhere. It looks like tonight will be Bath Night in the nursery for some very sticky hatchlings. Baby Butter insists on feeding himself, and only a little bit of ice cream ends up in his nose. He considers it a victory.
*Honey is so wiggly with ice cream joy that he accidentally upends his ice cream bowl onto himself. Vex grabs a towel to clean him off, but some helpful Honey Bos are licking him clean and making him giggle. Vex gives him a new bowl of ice cream, which he eats very carefully, tail wagging in ice creamy bliss.

Hey, just wanted to say I love BPC! It's one of my favorite fics ☺ Also, I have a question if that is okay. In one chapter we see Pupyrus (cutest nickname for Mutt ever!!) go on a cleaning spree when Reader is coming over for the dinner. So my question is, do all of your Paps clean when nervous?

in canon papyrus is a p clean guy (and likes all of his books sorted + his action figures in a row) so he’s just generally a clean guy
swap papyrus is messy when he’s not paying attention to what he’s doing but the second he stops to look around and realizes Things Are Dirty, he’ll immediately start picking up after himself because seeing things dirty makes him even more anxious
horror papyrus is just as much of a clean-freak as canon pap is, but he can’t really Do Much with what he’s got, so he does his best to make everything presentable but he’s had a breakdown or two over how he can’t get some stains out
Hello, I'm just curious. I adopted a Honeybo (Jazz), a King (Captain, Cap for short) and a Papython (Sweets). We all have a great relationship and I love them all to pieces. Anyways, my question is this. I'm going for bloodwork soon and while I usually get along okay, sometimes I nearly pass out if they have to poke me again to find another vein. So I was just wondering how they'd react?

Sweets the Papython: He’s going to hold your hand and talk you through it. He’ll hover and watch you to make sure you aren’t getting woozy. He’ll tell you that you’re doing a great job and give you plenty of hand pats and hugs the entire time.
Jazz the Honey Bo: Jazz will try to distract you and focus your attention elsewhere. Hopefully the power of puns and jokes will keep you from passing out! He may even ask you to sing a bit. Maybe actively recalling the words to a song will keep you from passing out?
Captain the King: Captain is going to oversee the entire procedure. He doesn’t want to be intimidating, but he wants to make sure that the person doing the bloodwork knows that you may pass out. He also wants to make sure that they do their job correctly and don’t harm you.
*If you did pass out, your three lamias would sit with you. Captain would probably be physically holding you, Sweets would be hugging you and emanating healing energy, and Jazz would be flopped on your lap, probably catching some Zs.
