La touche artistique de Sylvie Villepontoux dans ses pièces rend hommage à une vocation lointaine. L’artiste a suivi une formation aux Beaux-Arts, puis elle a d’abord utilisé l’image comme moyen d’expression de ses inspirations. Collages, encres de Chine, mines de plomb... sont ses outils pour créer des œuvres très graphiques, essentiellement en noir et blanc. Un graphisme que l’on retrouve dans ses céramiques, une nouvelle voie qu’elle emprunte depuis quelques années pour développer son art. Majoritairement en porcelaine coulée ou estampées, ces collections se déclinent en deux gammes : utilitaires ou artistiques. Même si ici l’utilitaire rejoint souvent l’artistique !  

Pour créer ses pièces, Sylvie Villepontoux laisse parler son instinct. Comme elle le précise : « Je tente des choses, j’expérimente, je rebondis. J’appréhende la surface comme un espace à organiser.(…) Le champ d’investigation n’a pas de limite« . Une spontanéité qui, une fois extériorisée, devient délicatesse et raffinement.”

1. What was the last movie you watched? Star Wars : The Force Awakens : I want to go see The Danish Girl next week tho! But I don’t really have time to go to the movies these days :(

3. What was the last show you watched? Malcolm in the Middle : I never got the chance to watch it entirely, a bit here and there, so I started doing it and now I’m at season 6! Then I’ll watch the 100 season 2 to be able to watch the third one with @chroniquedesseves !

4. What was the last book you read? Does textbooks count? Because I’ve read a lot of these during the past week! But I’m currently re-reading Artemis Fowl right now, so : the first one!

5. What was the last thing you ate? My breakfast! My mom made pancakes this morning!

6. If you could be anywhere else right now, where would you be? Well I’m in my bed so that’s pretty neat. Tho I’d really like to be somewhere I can go skiing, or back in the States with my friends, or just on holiday, really!

7. If you could pick a decade to travel back in time what would it be? Ehh... Honestly, if I could live anywhere anytime I’d go for Ancient Greece or Ancient Egypt. Seriously, digging it! But from the 1900 to the 1990... I guess... I don’t know, I kinda hate baby boomers x) Maybe the 50s, that should be interesting!

8. If you won the lotto and millions in cash, what would be the first thing you do? Buy two apartments in Paris, one for me, one for my family. Invest the rest. Become a partner at my dad’s shop. Give money to my family.

9. Which fictional character would you like to hang out with for a day? Tough one! I don’t know... There’s way too many people !

10. What was the last fandom you joined? TSOA! (The Song of Achilles) : I cried way too much and I’m reading too much fanfiction but daaaaamn I love it!

What made you decide to get a tumblr? my self! I needed to find a place to post my crackships gifs and i was like “meh i use tumblr for gifs (RPG needs) anyway so why not”

Do you get asks on a daily basis? definitely not! I don’t even remember when the last one was... 

Why did you choose your url? because my best friend calls me pfudorqueen and I thought the rest of the world ought to know that i’m the queen of all unicorns! especially the pink fluffy ones dancing on rainbows :p (also i needed the change, the last one was three years old)
