2. A compelling argument for why your fave would never top or bottom

Hmmmmm... you see I am also full of nuance and very much a verse truther... HOWEVER I think it also depends on what we mean by that. I view giving/receiving as different to being dominant/submissive and one doesn't equal the other in my mind... I'll say Bono is my fave and in my head he is a verse but like... dominant. He is a service dom to me and I think that it doesn't matter to him if he tops or not. Like he leans more towards being top but I think he would not mind at all bottoming to 'serve' his partner if they wanted to top. And I don't think he would *never* let himself be emotionally/mentally/etc dominated, but I think he'd be weird and uncomfortable about it. So I think he doesn't care if he's giving or receiving but he would NOT like to feel like he's not at all in control. To him when he's bottoming he's still dominant but he's serving his partners need if that makes sense... ANYWAY that did not answer the question <3

OKAY... we both know this is literally so hard to answer..... I'll go with worst f1 fandom related take—because I've been on tumblr long enough to see all of the discourse and bad takes ouroboros themselves over and over. STILL..... listen... there's so many bad takes... I'm not going to count racism and whatever else as "takes" because then we'd be here all night. I've... its so hard to choose but I'll go with any opinion on Susie + Toto's relationship. Nobody knows how to be normal about a woman. Or knows how relationships work, or literally anything. IT'S SAUUUUUR BAD!!!!!! I had to block that f1 opinions blog because it pissed me off so bad. There's criticisms to be had about anything, and there's many crits to be said about Toto and Susie individually... but nobody can be normal about them together. At All.

KATSU!!!!!!!!!!!!! KATSUHIDE KUWAHARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In 2020, Katsu was a Simulator Test Engineer for Racing Point. After three years he applied to work at Mercedes and he received his offer from Shov and Riki. Katsu worked with George at a handful of races in 2023, but was moved to George's side of the garage full time in 2024. When asked by Motorsport.com Japan about Katsu post qualifying Japan 2026, George said this:

This weekend is the home Grand Prix for your engineer, Mr Katsuhide Kuwahara, so could you share your thoughts on him for Japanese fans who are hoping to see Japanese people standing on the podium in the Japanese Grand Prix, since 2012, because you seem to have a great chance to get on the podium with him?" George: "Yeah, I mean, Katsu is one of the most talented engineers we have in the whole team and definitely one of the most hard-working individuals also in the team. and HONESTLY, I'm not mad about the James Urwin wildcard. When Williams used to put out the Williams Warm up videos every race week with him and Gaetan Jego I was lowkey starting to find him very charming eoigheirgheirgheigh. I really do have a borderline shameful thing for F1 engineers.

5. If this ship didn't meet in canon, how do you imagine they would have met?

This is such an interesting question to me in terms of Sewis bc if they weren't F1 drivers would they ever meet??? (Which sidenote, I think why sports rpf is so narratively compelling is bc you have so many people from different places in the same environment that maybe wouldn't be so otherwise and... yeah that's such a saucy prospect. I did try and touch on that in TRoS a little bit).

I think it would probably be some kind of chance encounter at a sports event (maybe Wimbledon since I know they've both been) since they're both big sports nerds, and they'd hit it off and go from there.

15. One to three AUs you would like to see explored with this ship?

Oh I don't know, maybe an AU where Seb doesn't make it as an F1 driver and becomes a strategy engineer and starts working at Mercedes alongside Lewis..... jk 😅

I did briefly consider cooking up a Tennis AU while watching the Paris 2024 Olympics but I don't have enough in-depth tennis knowledge to be able to write it (plus, from a competitive sports angle it would feel really similar to any F1 fics). I think some kind of Non-F1 AU would be so much fun though, I definitely want to do some kind of Star Trek fic with them at some point!

18. If this ship was a dessert, what kind of dessert would they be?

ooooh I don't actually know! I don't normally think about what food types are aligned with a person's/ship's personality. I generally tend to think of them and write them as a very steady, warm, and comforting relationship - and to me that's best embodied by a Sticky Toffee Pudding (which, is also one of my faves 😅)
