Eleni led the way with a small lantern as the three of them ascended the stairs in silence. The upper floor of the house was dark, but Howzer noticed a light as he climbed the first few steps. Then one of them stood on a loose floorboard which creaked and the light winked out. Howzer saw Cham and Eleni sharing a knowing smile; Hera must still be working on her droid.
