Yugo mentions that he went looking for Yuya and it was really sweet that he asks about the split affecting him.

Of course Yugo being Yugo, he's a dumby calling Yuya the weaker duelist. But the sentiment behind him offering his strength to Yuya is nice, he can word it a little better though.

"Don't flash on my eyes, Fusion (Yu-go) ! "

"Not fusion again! Are you mimic that sissy! "

Yugo puts small mirror off, and pouts on Yuya; And Yuya just laughes playfully.

"Oh, don't mad at me, I apology! Just-don't-pull my faceee! "

So close, so close to Yugo's steady eyes…

His face is so bright, eyes are shinning like a brightest star, hair are reflecting sunshine…

"Hey! Why are you stunned?! " "Ah…ah! "

He tilted his head and asked, "What's up with you? "With a cute doggy eyes, and care.

Ahhh, he's soo cuteee! But I don't want him to know, or-

"Anyway! Just go for ride! "

After an eternity(or like over a year) I’ve finally got a new chapter for this

Excerpt:

Yugo’s eyes don’t move from the object in his hands, tongue poking out between his lips in a very distracting way while he works. He’d pulled out his work table from the wall so Yuya could sit on the other side, directly across from him as he worked.

Normally he wouldn’t let anyone other than his closest friends touch his goggles, much less when they were broken. Yet Yugo still sat there, a flat screwdriver in one hand, carefully prodding the cracked glass of the goggles loose, held still against the work table by his other hand. His movements are gentle, like he was working on a valuable artifact or high-class weapon and not a pair of well-used eyewear.

44. Tentative kisses given in the dark.

Yugo let out the tiniest shriek as the lights flickered and the TV went out. Yuya would have also shrieked, except that Yugo immediately flung himself on top of him, which drove all of the air from his body and cause him to let out a long oof instead.

For a moment, neither of them moved.  Thunder rumbled in the distance, rattling the window panes just enough to hear them in the sudden silence.  Yuya felt his hair rising on end.  The echo of the last scene of that horror movie they’d just been watching clattered around in his head.  Was this it?  Were they about to be haunted by a ghost in the total darkness?

Yugo shivered, still laying completely on top of him, and Yuya shook the thoughts away.

“Hey, it’s — it’s okay,” he said, fumbling for where he thought Yugo’s head was and stroking his hair once he found it.  “We’re gonna be okay.”

His voice shook a little from the still receding shock, but having someone here who needed a calming presence was helping him stay more calm.

“It’s just cause of the storm,” he said.  “The lights should be back on soon.”

“R-right,” Yugo said, sniffling. “Sorry, that was really, uh...that was super lame.”

He leaned back off of Yuya, but Yuya reached for him, fumbling until he found his hand.

“No way,” he said.  “I was about to freak, too!  If I was by myself, I’d be losing it.”

Yugo sniffled again, and Yuya wondered if he was smiling that tremulous smile of his, the one he had when he was still a little overwhelmed but trying to power through it.

“Rin always had to hold my hand during thunderstorms,” he admitted, fingers twining into Yuya’s.

“My mom always had to come and sit with me til I’d fall back asleep,” Yuya said, smiling.

Yugo giggled a little.  Thunder rolled again, followed by a faint flash that flickered through the curtains.  Yuya tensed, and this time, it was Yugo who tugged on his hand.

“Maybe we shouldn’t watch scary movies at night,” he said with a faint giggle.

Yuya let out a gasped laughed.

“Maybe we shouldn’t,” he agreed.

For a few long, quiet moments, they just sat there in the dark, hands twined together.  Yugo shifted beneath their shared blanket and Yuya felt it move across his legs.  Yuya swallowed.

“Well,” he said.  “We should probably do something til the lights come back on, right?”

“Something?  Like what?” Yugo said.

Yuya couldn’t help but laugh a little again.

“Let’s see,” he said, tugging on Yugo’s hand to get him closer again, until they were snuggled up next to each other like they had been before the lights went out.

Yugo settled in next to him with a sigh, sinking into Yuya as Yuya wrapped one arm around his shoulders.  Yuya couldn’t see him, or at least, not very well, but he could feel his breath coming close to his neck.

“Yugo,” he said impulsively.  “Do you think I could kiss you?”

Yugo’s breath caught, and his shoulders slumped with surprise.

“I mean — I don’t know — that was probably —”

“Y-yeah!” Yugo squeaked.  “I think...I would...I mean, we can try?”

He fumbled.

“I mean, I don’t even know where your face is,” he said.

Yuya nearly choked on a laugh.

“I think I can figure it out,” he teased, and he slid his hand back along Yugo’s shoulders to the back of his neck, tangling gently with his loose hair.

It was a little harder than he thought it would be.  Their noses bumped twice, interspersed with nervous giggles, and when they finally found each other’s lips, their teeth clacked together the first time.

“Ouch!”

“You okay?”

“Y-yeah, sorry, that was my fault.”

“Hang on, let’s try it one more time.”

This time, Yuya measured the distance right, and his lips pressed against Yugo’s soft ones.  Yugo was nervous — so was Yuya, the two of them only barely pressing lips and then breaking off, pressing lips and breaking off.

“Is this how kissing goes?” Yugo said.  “I’ve never actually done it.”

“I don’t know,” Yuya said, blushing.  “I only ever kissed Yuzu, and that was when were six.”

“Um. Let’s keep trying?”

Yuya giggled, and then Yugo giggled, and Yuya leaned forward and kissed him again, gently but firmly this time, letting his lips open a little bit.  Yugo’s breath caught a bit as his mouth opened a little more too, their faces pressed together as they found each other in the dark.  Yugo’s hands wrapped around Yuya’s back, and one got into his hair and Yuya moaned slightly into the kiss.  They broke apart to breathe and then pressed together again.

They were still kissing when the TV and the lights flickered back on, and they didn’t even look up when the monster surprised the main character from her hiding spot.

I don’t have many because I don’t actively ship this one, but lemme come up with a few for you

Both of them can eat their body weight and sometimes this turns into a contest. Specifically, both of them like going to one of those ramen places where if you can eat a WHOLE HUGE bowl of SUPER SPICY ramen in a certain amount of time, you get it free.  Neither of them have managed it yet, but Yugo has gotten the closest.

Their dates are normally just racing on their bikes – or rather, Yugo racing on his bike and Yuya racing on his dragon.

Yuya teaches Yugo how to work dragon riding into his dueling and Yugo gets obsessed with flying with Clear Wing

The rest of their dates tend to be duels.  They are constantly dueling or talking about other duelists and gushing over their faves.

More than any of the other dragon boys, Yuya and Yugo tend to say the exact same thing at the exact same time or finish the others’ sentence automatically without thinking about it.  Yuya always says “jinx” first though.

Neither of them can STOP MOVING EVER. they must always be bouncing around and chattering nonstop when they are together.
