he’s almost surprised when monika speaks - how bold of her. sometimes, she seemed to combat his own level of confidence and fearless attitude. her very words cause a smile she claims to like so much - arms fold over his chest, and he shakes his head in amusement.

A short laugh leaves his lips as he reads over the text message. For someone who acted so indifferent in most social situations, she almost seemed like a whole new person whenever her beloved milk bread was involved. Still, he knows he should own up to his mistake for telling her to pick up the milk bread at home– only to realize he left it in his locker at work.
