If you talk a lot about how you "aren't antisemitic just antizionist",
while knowing nothing about Jewish history or culture except that "judaism is not zionism" and having 0 intent of learning anything that might contradict your prejudice,
Speak over Jews and Israelis about topics they know a LOT more about than you,
Never show actual support to Jews, but only mention antisemitism as a part of a disclaimer before you demonize the only Jewish nation and advocate for its destruction,
Refuse to listen to Jewish people when they tell you about how anti Jewish bloodlibels manifest through modern progressive discourse and popular conspiracy theories and proceed to assert that "no, actually the theories I was taught are 100% correct, you are just a lying, sneaky, mossad agent who gets paid 7k by bibi",
Appropriate Jewish trauma and engage in holocaust inversion but never talk about the actual Jewish victims and survivors of holocaust or how the same anti jewish rhetoric is still alive today,
Never speak out about the continuous terrorist attacks against Jewish people neither in Israel or diaspora,
only mention hamas to say a terrorist militia is the same as a Jewish democracy, never actually focus on the crimes of the terrorist orgs and their victims if it's not leading to "but also death to israel",
Tell me,
Who the fuck are you fooling? 🤷🏽♀️
So, here’s the letter that my synagogue sent out last night (edited to remove the name of the synagogue for privacy reasons):
We hold in our hearts the Detroit Metro Jewish community after the horrific attack on Temple Israel in West Bloomfield, Michigan earlier this afternoon. We have been in touch with our colleagues on the ground, and while everyone is okay physically, the community is experiencing heightened anxiety and fear. Antisemitism and violence should have no place in our world. The shock and pain of our siblings in Michigan resonate throughout the greater Jewish community. As our tradition teaches, when even one of our people is harmed, the entire Jewish people share in that hurt. As Am Echad (One People), we turn to one another and to our leadership for support and connection during these difficult times. At this time, there is no known immediate threat to our synagogue. We remain in close communication with the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) and local authorities and will continue to monitor the situation carefully. We are grateful each day for the blessing of our dedicated security personnel, and for the systems that allow us to gather in safety and comfort. Our community is here for you, and our clergy are available for care and counsel. Let us hold one another up as we stand in solidarity with our people in Michigan. Through our presence with one another, may we find the resolve and determination to continue living our lives proudly and joyfully, together.
And the thing is, we get one of these every couple of months. And they’re not form letters by any means, but at the same time they’re always the same – we’re saddened to hear about this latest attack, we stand as one with our siblings in the affected community, don’t worry we’re working with local law enforcement to make sure there’s no immediate threat to our building, please reach out if you need to talk.
And I hate it. I hate that I’ve seen this often enough that I can recognize the patterns to it. I hate that I wait for them after holidays and I hate that they also show up in between. I hate that they show up at all. I hate that I asked my husband yesterday, “Did you hear about Michigan?” and his only response was a very tired, “yeah….” There was nothing more to say. It’s all already been said, and I hate that it’s a conversation that’s been had so many times there’s just nothing left to add to it. I hate it.
And I hate that people outside of the Jewish community don’t care. I hate that they’ll call it a “false flag” or insist that a building with children in it is an acceptable target for “anti-Zionist” activity, or some other excuse. There’s always some excuse, and I hate that too. I wish that people could just look at a terror attack against my community and just say, “Hey, that’s fucked up. I don’t think people should do that,” and I hate that for some fucking reason they can’t.
Anyway, to all the people who keep insisting that rising antisemitism isn’t an issue, or that the Jews are over reacting, I genuinely hope that you never have to feel this way about attacks on your own community, but I also want you to understand that this hate is for you too.
I just heard about the synagogue attack in West Bloomfield, Michigan. My heart dropped into my stomach as I feared yet another massacre, but it appears the congregants of Temple Israel are all safe. Baruch Hashem. May the injured security guard have a speedy recovery.

A Jewish synagogue was attacked after a truck drove through the front entrance of Temple Israel in West Bloomfield on Thursday.
One individual was confirmed dead inside the vehicle, which barged through the front entrance. The Oakland County Sheriff said a security guard shot the individual.
There were no children or staff injured during the attack, Mike Bouchard said. One security guard was hospitalized after being struck by the vehicle.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 12 p.m.
Here is what we know:
3:30 p.m. — Chemical agent found in truck, lockdowns lifting
Police sources told FOX 2's Jessica Dupnack that a chemical agent was found inside the truck that rammed the vehicle, indicating that some sort of explosive device was inside the suspect vehicle.
It's unclear what the agent was.
Lockdowns in the area were also being lifted as the direct threat was neutralized. That includes at West Bloomfield High School where students were being released from the building.
West Bloomfield Police also lifted their shelter-in-place order. The Jewish Federation of Detroit also advised any Southeast Michigan organizations were no longer required to stay locked down.

MANCHESTER — The Crown Prosecution Service announced that charges had been filed against a Jewish synagogue on Thursday for provoking a violent terrorist attack against themselves by being openly Jewish.
A synagogue located in Manchester was the site of a deadly attack last week in which two people were killed and three others were injured. Authorities were acting quickly to punish those involved, including the synagogue and its members, for being openly Jewish.
"We have a zero tolerance policy for violent stabbing offenses," said Crown Prosecutor Henry Thomas. "That's why we have to punish these Jews for being so Jewish. It just incites more stabbings."
Authorities officially charged Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue with incitement of violence and advanced displays of Jewry. If convicted, the synagogue will have to pay a hefty fine of £5,000 or 453,285 afghanis. In addition, Jews who refuse to sign an official apology could face up to five years in prison.
A defense barrister speaking on behalf of the synagogue was unable to get the charges dismissed because his clients are, in fact, quite Jewish.
"I don't know how we're going to win this one," Barrister Clyde Wrinkles said. "My clients are definitely Jews, and we have the Muslim stabber on video saying, 'I am stabbing you because you are Jews.'"
Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he hoped this case would prove a lesson to other Jews out there. "Think of all the stabbings that could be avoided if there were fewer Jews being Jewish," he said in a statement. "We could be living in a socialist utopia if it weren't for these Jews doing Jew things."
At publishing time, all Manchester Jews had been detained pending trial for their own safety.

That's parody, but this isn't.

PARIS — An explosion outside a synagogue in southern France wounded a police officer on Saturday morning in what authorities said was being treated as a terror attack.
A suspect caught on a surveillance camera outside the Beth Yaacov synagogue in the seaside resort of La Grande-Motte, near the city of Montpellier, was caught in surveillance camera footage clad in a Palestinian flag.
France’s acting interior minister ordered police reinforcements to protect Jewish places of worship after the suspected arson
French President Emmanuel Macron calls the attack “an act of terror,” adding in a post on X that “the fight against antisemitism is a daily fight.”
“Sending thoughts to the faithful of the synagogue of La Grande-Motte and all the Jews of our country,” Macron wrote, promising that all efforts were being made to apprehend the perpetrator and to “protect places of worship.”
Police were hunting for the suspect and the anti-terrorism prosecutor’s office was put in charge of the investigation, Prime Minister Gabriel Attal said.

“This is an antisemitic attack. Once more, our Jewish compatriots are targeted,” Attal said on X, adding: “We won’t give up. In the face of antisemitism, in the face of violence, we will never allow ourselves to be intimidated.”
Two cars parked at the synagogue in the seaside resort town were set ablaze at about 8:30 a.m., causing the blast that injured the police officer, according to French media reports. One of the cars allegedly contained a propane gas tank.
Lima police caution it was likely not a hate crime.
A synagogue in Lima, Ohio, was shot up with what police describe as a BB or pellet gun, although they caution it was likely not a hate crime.
At least two dozen holes were discovered in the windows of Temple Beth Israel-Shaare Zedek on Shabbat, according to the congregation’s part-time rabbi, Howie Stein, who reported the vandalism in a public Facebook post that has since been deleted.
Sgt. Jason Warren of the Lima Police Department told JTA that the incident, which likely occurred on Friday night, was not being treated as a hate crime. Police are treating it as an act of vandalism because there was nothing besides the bullet holes to suggest an anti-Semitic motive, he said.
