Cayden: So apparently speeding is bad?
Cayden: And I was so not successful talking my way out of a ticket. Even though I was in town and I grew up here and everyone knows me.
Cayden: So not how I wanted to start my day :(

the team had been drinking since the afternoon following their sweep over northeastern. the dayâs activities involved shotgunning beers on instagram livestreams and a game of drunken football in the quad. but by the time the evening fell, soren was making his way back to his apartment off campus when he ran into someone while he roamed the sidewalks. âwow, wow, iâm sorry,â he rambled, smiling brightly as he gripped onto their arms. he blinked a little bit, tilting his head. âthank you for not hating me and you.. you look pretty, with the... the streetlights and yeah,â he said, leaning in a little closer. everything being said was like white noise in sorenâs ears. he just tilted his head, a bit transfixed, âcan i kiss you? i feel like i should kiss you.â
âFuck,â Embry mumbled under her breath, removing her fingers from the keyboard and angrily taking a sip of her latteâwell, as angrily as she could without spilling it. Writerâs block was officially her worst enemy. Itâd been twenty minutes in this god-forsaken cafe since she had typed a single word, and she stared intently at an empty Word document with a flashing cursor. The sounds of conversation, coffee-making, and typing plagued her ears. Typing. At least someone in here could write something. She racked her brain until some decent words came to mind, and almost immediately as her fingers began to type, she noticed a familiar face come through the door. âUgh,â She grumbled, perhaps too loudly. âHey, funny seeing you here.â
Peter had been walking around all night, trying to see where he could just buy a pack of beer. A few classmates from school were getting together, and he promised heâd get some drinks, except he just had no idea where to look. He didnât want to ask any of the stuck-up, conceited rich kids where to go, so he just turned down the block and kept walking, until he saw what he defined as a friendly face. âWhereâs the closest deli around here? Itâs weird not having a deli at every corner.â

sofia: in todayâs installment of sofia canât cook sofia: burned oatmeal in the microwave. sofia:Â someone save me
Astoria looked around at the buildings surrounding her. For someone who was used to being in new environment, one would think that sheâd be at least half decent at figuring her way around, and usually she was but this time, not so much. To add to it, sheâd left her phone charging on her bedside table, Google Maps wasnât going to save her ass this time. She could easily spend the next hour or so wandering around until she reached a place she recognised. Spotting a lone person on the otherwise abandoned street, she cut her losses and went up to them. âSorry if Iâm bothering you, but I was hoping you could give me some directions.â
as vince walked his dog, he was pulled from his task by the sound of his phone buzzing, featuring a text from one of his employees about a customerâs even larger order than the one he had a week before. being so distracted by mentally preparing for the weekend ahead, vincent lost his grip on the leash and his dog began to run away. âmerde,â he cursed under his breath, before quickly running after him. unfortunately, by the time he caught up, the poodle was already giving attention to another person.Â
âer-- sorry about moose. sometimes he decides to act a little too excited for his own good.â
