I had a period of time I was drawing out low-stakes sketchy illustrations, mainly for my own stress management. I think it helped. Sometimes seeing something come together like this without worrying to hard about composition or line art or shading just makes the brain feel better. It helped that I was purposefully choosing very comforting and pleasing palettes too.
