For the most part though, they kept their relationship a secret: Lake was all about keeping up appearances. But, Lake started opening up by telling Mia about Felix.

Lake might’ve felt bad because Mia disclosed some very personal info. Therefore, Lake might’ve felt sort of pressured into making Mia feel less uncomfortable by revealing something about her, and drawing attention away from Mia’s past. But, I think Lake actually had the ability to not say anything at this time. Lake just started liking Felix enough to tell Mia. Maybe. Also, I liked how Lake and Mia both knew Felix is good for her.

Anyways, Lake said no to going to the dance with Felix, but that’s fine, it made sense. And then Felix heard Lake’s entire conversation with her mom. Like holy moly do you know how vulnerable Lake felt? Well apparently Felix did because he freaking brought her to his apartment which no one had ever seen, and he even talked about his mom who is depressed. After that, Felix asked her to the dance again and she said no, but it makes sense because nobody changes that fast ya know? Then, Felix ends things (freaking finally, Felix deserves to be treated right. I would’ve thrown hands if he didn’t end it there).
