Wolfgang noted the hesitation in the master’s tone and actions so he offered a smile and assured her, “That sounds like a small price to pay if it means I can dance with Miss Ayaka.” And so the Caster was gently pulling the mage closer as he stepped back, guiding her to the center of the ‘stage’, even though the stage simply were the ruins of what had once been a church. It was in such bad state that grass had grown from the cracks on the floor but, surprisingly, the majority of the stained glass windows were without cracks. He was certain that Jeanne would’ve preferred him to choose a different location for the team’s break, but they needed to work with what was available.
The music was his own, joyful but sublime notes played by his headless and feathered transparent familiars. Either demons or angels, flying in circles around the dancers to invite them to forget about the rest the world. Wolfgang led his partner without trouble. “It might not sound too reassuring when the lazy musician says it but I like to think that everyone deserves a break from their duties, no matter how great they are. To allow yourself to have fun and enjoy the small things in life, it’s not too much to ask from the beautiful mage that is dancing with me, is it” Lazy, the man that overworked himself to an early grave said.
