You need to let Black trans girls be immature. You need to love her even when she's immature or annoying or otherwise imperfect. You need to be kind to her and create a safe environment when she's learning how to talk to people. You need to understand when a Black trans girl has trouble trusting. You need to encourage her to set her boundaries with you. You need to show her love when she talks about her hurting, even if she's not talking about it eloquently. You need to let that Black trans girl be a girl without expecting the world of her. We can't give you the world all the time. We're too tired, and we never got a chance to heal.

An algorithm is a tool of white supremacy and exists only to suppress Black people. Whether it be our joy or our pain, we are not palatable for an algorithm. If we aren't shown, we do not exist; that is what the algorithm and the ones who built it want you to believe. For this reason, it's crucial that you engage with Black creators when you see them. Click on that Black person's content, like and repost it, follow/subscribe to them, comment and engage with them. Make sure that they aren't forgotten under the churning of a machine built to eradicate us.
