HIII i just finished Cold Bloodlines in one sitting and i am absolutely in LOVE with the way you wrote it.
The character development of Swoopstrike and Pineshade especially!! Speaking of Swoopstrike, words cannot describe how utterly wrecked i was when you killed him off like i was in TEARS on a saturday night bawling over this guy i thought was a total douche a few chapters ago. The development and the way you fleshed out his character in the few chapters he was alive in was absolutely amazing and honestly grumpy old guy might have been my fav character in the fic (him and pineshade). the tears i sobbed LMAO you made me want a fanfiction of your fanfiction where Swoopstrike lives with Dappledpelt and yk happily ever after 😭 speaking of pineshade AGHH she shook herself off that weirdass toxic guy dampfang GOOD FOR HER i was cheering for her did i like paledusk's character? no. did you write him perfectly? YES like omg i was always like hey should i trust this guy or not 😭😭 such an intriguing character in the story amongst many others!!
anyways this was such an amazing story and now i seem to be going down the rabbithole and reading through your other stories too LMAO bye <3
Ahhh thank you so much! And wow, that's a lot of reading for one sitting! I'm always impressed when people tell me they've read any of my long fics in one sitting since I personally read slowly so I could never manage it haha.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Cold Bloodlines, and Pineshade and Swoopstrike especially! They are some of my favorites, and I loved writing their arcs! <3 (And Paledusk too, even though he's my horrible, stinky man.)
And although it's not a Swoopstrike lives AU, I've got a couple of little side fics for Swoopstrike and Dappledpelt that I should really finish up soon.
Swoopstrike giving Frostmask a life for “Forgiveness for yourself and others” 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I still remember when I first read Cold Bloodlines and cried like a baby when he died.
Aw yes, and I think that would be something Frostmask would really need to hear in an AU where she ends up leader! She'd definitely blame herself a lot for Sedgestar's death in that AU, and Swoopstrike would be trying to tell her to forgive herself and move forward.
