T_____T THANK YOU!! all i really strive for is an engaging story that’s fun to read. you too also have a wonderful day!!
as extra thanks, have some teaser of chapter 8 of some beast:
OKAY. STIFF UPPER LIP. THAT’S A GOOD ATTITUDE, Joey said. Yami impatiently set the glove aside. BUT LISTEN, I’M JUST SAYING, IF YOU’RE NERVOUS, THERE’S NOTHING WRONG –
I SAID I’M FINE. I WON’T LET ANYONE DOWN, Yuugi insisted.
Yami padded over to the nearest door of his labyrinth and studied it. It was different from his door, iron-black and impenetrable, and Yuugi’s door, colorful and half-open. It was made of ancient, sun-weathered wood, its hinges creaking as he gave it an experimental push. For a moment, he hesitated, frowning, his own nerves pulling slightly tighter. What kind of answer lay behind the door? He thought of Seto, sweating with terror and panic in the void of Drift. Then he’d set his jaw, played the game, and won. With his chin up and his eyes forward.
GOD, YUUGI, YOU MAKE SO MUCH ROOM FOR OTHER PEOPLE BUT YOU NEVER MAKE ANY ROOM FOR YOURSELF. YOU’RE NOT LETTING ANYONE DOWN BY GETTING NERVOUS
Worse than a bad answer was no answer at all. Yami squared his shoulders and, throwing all hesitation behind him, pushed through the door. Their voices disappeared.
